I looked at the paper in my hands that was her handwriting I knew it perfectly.
She obviously took her time as the letters looked perfect and straight, her signature as always looked hurried.
'Find me' - Valerie
My gloved hands folded the paper neatly I stuffed it in my pocket I took out my phone and instantly put on the songs on shuffle.
'Well sometimes I go out by myself and I look across the water.'
I stopped in my tracks and listened to the song.
'And I think of all the things what you're doing and in my head I paint a picture'
I knew this song it was her song just when my day couldn't get any worse.
'Cause since I've come on home when my body's been a mess and I miss your ginger hair and the way you like to dress.'
I bit my lip from frustration my heart was screaming stop the music but my hand just stared at the snow covered sidewalks.
'Oh wont you come on over stop making a fool out of me!! oh wont you come on over Valerie?'
Funny usually she was the one who found me. now she left.
I listened to the Rhythm and the Valerie's sung.
By this time I was humming to the song as the verse repeated.
I knew what I had to do.
'Valerie, Valerie.'
I barged in my house and ran upstairs.
'Oh wont you come on over?'
'Valerie! Valerie!'
I have to find Valerie my Valerie.
