Since I was a child, I had often believed in some... different things. I often believed magic was real and actually wanted to be a fairy when I grew up. I had believed those things up until I was 12. Now, I was trying to keep my head up high but I often was made fun of for believing in magic. I loved to play with my parents and make them dress up, but when I was 12, that magic died along with my joy. My mom and dad fought a lot when I wasn't in the house so after 5 years of fighting they broke it off. The thing that pushed me over the edge was they didn't tell me until I was 13! I was furious when I found out how long they waited to tell me the news! I promised myself that when I'm an adult, things will be different! But once again, things went even farther downhill when my mom started drinking. Now, mom was an interesting drinker in a way that you wouldn't expect. When she's drunk, she does this thing where she'll make me do all the chores while she just sits there. Not that I hate chores, but I usually have homework to do. Usually what happens is I'm too busy doing chores and don't get my work done and then I get in trouble for no work done. Then they call my mom and I end up with more chores. It repeats again and again. Soon it'll be different, I'm hoping...
