Yeah so for the last day of unus annus we thought we'd spend it just skippin some rocks down by the raging river here

When we were told about these campgrounds we were told about this lovely flowing river here and um just turns out that uh, things dont always turn out as what you expect them to be.

Exactaly but you know as uh as campers we make do and uh we do the best that we can with what were given.

Yeah and I kinda this thats the principal of unus annus, its um, a lot of people; they try to discern some weird criptic meaning behind what we do theyre like
"oh theres gotta be something that they're gonna do, when uh when it ends you know theyre gonna do something "
And I-I think people are just overpomplicating the idea behind it and assuming we put more thought into it at the beginning than we did.

Yeah, no. The original idea was that you and I were both sort of like bored of doing gaming stuff am the time and it was a place to make literally anything we wanted!

Yeah and the message being that like because it was temporary it didn't matter what we made, so long as we made something.

And I think that you know its a principal that a lot of people ask us like "how do you make youtube videos how do you get started" like its this principal we didnt expect to have unus annus blow up the way it did, we didnt expect people to respond to it the way they did. And I think its just the principal of making things, every day. It doesnt matter what. Just make things and that's really what we do at unus annus so that's what these videos are; we make.

A lot of people have asked both of us because of the way that the year has gone... We didnt do ... We had a lot planned, that we weren't able to do. And we won't be able to do in the lifespan of unus annus and a lot of people have asked" you know well cut you some slack you can extend the year" but that completely defeats the purpose you know. We have to play the hands that we were dealt.

Creativity flows from constraints. You know if you have all the options available to you all the time then you know you dont feel challenged. And I feel that the best things come out of the most inopportune circumstance. And I think unus annus is very indicitive of that. *laughs* ive joked about this, um we could do a video about one sheet of toilate paper and we could make it into a full video. Um. And the point is not that everything we make is perfect, but its the best we could do at the time.

Yeah I think that we've definitely done that with every video. You know make the best thing we could mame in that time.

I think escape room holds a special place in my heart. Cooking with sex toys even though its kind of a copout cause its the first real video but yeah.

Yeah and a lot of people wonder about like the whole channels fascination with death. A lot of people get it. But its not about uh like celabrating death its self. Its about understanding that death is universal. Death is kind of like the constant ending point of life and its what helps give life meaning. To me anyway.

Ive always looked at it like I knkw someday im going to die so I have to do everything a can while I'm alive to make sure my life had the meaning I wanted it to have.

I think that's what makes not only the channel so special but each video so special cause just looking at a single video; like its a good video but there's not a lot of like thats like super special about it like "oh this is going to get deleted soon" it adds a whole nother thing.

Well honestly tge though never crossed my mind is always been "well every single one of these ive already let go" theres realky jothing I would save cause like as soon at it gets done, and the time is up, and I can watch it until the day it comes but. I have this nice closure to each video. I let it go.
