'Turn back'

-I don't really give a damn about the way you touch me
When we're alone-

He watched as your delicate lips landed on his best friend's. She never told him this. Why? Why wouldn't she, even after out of all the people it's his best friend.

-You can hold my hand
If no one's home
Do you like it when I'm away?-

What about the times they shared? The small touches? The soft smiles? The gentle words? No. That should be him.

The girls eyes met his broken ones.
"Kenma..."
He couldn't even bare to hear the sound of her voice saying his name.

-Would you love me the same?
I can feel all my bones coming back
And I'm craving motion-

His pain was mixed with anger.
'What does Kuroo have that i don't?'
'Is it his stupid smirk?'
'His stupid voice?'
'His stupid charm?"
Kuroo didn't even notice the small boy.

His feet moved on their own, He was running, running as fast as he could. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going. He just wanted to go, far far away.

-Mama never really learned how to live by herself
It's a curse
And it's growing
You're a pond and I'm an ocean-

Maybe it was his fault for not planning this out. He acted without thought. Of course it wouldn't work. It was dumb.
'dumb'
'dumb'
'dumb'

Why did you make him feel this way. He hated it but loved it at the same time. His repetitive thoughts kept him unaware of the fact that salty tears were running down his soft cheeks.

-Oh, all my emotions
Feel like explosions when you are around
And I've found a way to kill the sound, oh-

His thoughts were drowned out with tears. Tears turned into soft sobs. Soft sobs turned into loud cries. His cries filled the room. The once almost emotionless boy had turned into a broken mess.

-Oh, baby, I am a wreck when I'm without you
I need you here to stay-

*RING*

F/N- Kenma, i'm so sorry.
read, 5:47pm
F/N- Please answer... Kenma i don't have feelings for him, i promise.
read, 5:49pm

It took everything in him not to reply. He couldn't talk to her, not even over text. He fell hard, harder thane had for anyone else. He was empty without her, he was her other half.

-I broke all my bones that day I found you
Crying at the lake-

*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*

Thinking it was his mom, he wiped the wet tears off his face. Opening the door revealed...Kuroo. He forgot that he said he'd hang out with him today.

"Hey Kenma"
"Kuroo...i forgot we were gonna hang out today" He looked down the whole time. His voice was still shaky from crying. Kuroo obviously noticed.

"Is everything good, Kenma?" He gazed at the pudding headed boy in concern. Of course Kenma wasn't afraid to get caught. After all, he always hid his emotions.

"Huh? what do you mean? i'm fine. Come in" He said as he was already headed towards his room.

-Was it something I said to make you feel like you're a burden?
Oh, and if I could take it all back
I swear that I would pull you from the tide-

The friend of the boy didn't buy it. But would he say anything? no. He knows Kenma wouldn't tell him. Though he longed to know what happened. He rarely cries.

None the less he still followed the boy to his room. He planned on telling Kenma his feelings towards the special girl. He trusted Kenma with his feelings so why not?

As they both sat on the floor, The words Kenma dreaded to hear left his best friend's mouth.
"I think i like F/N"

It took everything in him not to break down again. He wouldn't though, not in front of Kuroo. Kuroo spoke again...

"She's such a lady"

'And i am just a boy'

"Yea...She is a lady..."

'And i am just a line without a hook'

*OK OK IDK HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS BUT I KINDA LIKE IT
