Peppa hurried up towards the door and knocked on it quite excitedly. Madam Gizel, their homeroom teacher, came up to the door and welcomed Peppa quite warmly. " Is this young Peppa?", Madam Gizel asked her, smiling at her. "Yes... Madam Gizel...", Peppa answered, sounding rather shy. "Oh... come on in...", Madam Gizel continued laughing at her warmly. " Hi... everyone... My name is 'Peppa', I am 5 years old... I don't have any brothers or sisters still... ah...", Peppa spoke, sounding really shy and nervous. "Hi! Peppa!!! Welcome!!! Will you come and play with us?", the other children called out to her, quite happily. They were really happy to meet their new friend. "Can I?", Peppa asked looking up at them, still feeling quite anxious. "Of course!", they all cried out again and Peppa hurried up towards them and joined them.

Peppa played with all of her new firends in the class and she got to know them pretty well. Among them, she found her new best friend. Her name was Susie. Susie was the same age of Peppa. Susie liked playing around with dolls as much as Peppa did and they got along pretty well.Lunch time... Peppa and Susie got their lunchboxes out. It was time to have their lunch."Susie... what did you bring for lunch today?", Peppa asked, smiling at her warmly." I brought apples! I love apples...", Susie answered smiling happily."What did you bring Peppa?"" I brought sandwitches... shall we share?"" Yes!"They had their lunch pretty fast and they started to play once again. The day passed by pretty fast. None of the kids felt the time pass by.

It was 5 o'clock... it was time to go home now."Peppa your mother and father are here...", Madam Gizel called out and Peppa ran outside calling out her goodbyes at her new friends happily."Good bye Madam Gizel...", Peppa said as she walked outside to her parents."Good bye Peppa, see you again tomorrow!", Madam Gizel called out happily.Mummy pig, Daddy pig and Peppa got into the car. Peppa was feeling really happy." So Peppa... how was your day today?", Mummy pig asked, settling on her seat now."It was great! I found a lot of new friends and I found a new best friend too, her name is Susie and we are both of the same age... we played together and we shared our lunch as well!", Peppa answered, jumping up and down on her seat rather excitedly."That's good Peppa!"" Mommy! I love the play group a lot! I want to go there tomorrow was well...""Of course Peppa, you'll being going there tomorrow as well!", Daddy Pig answered, smiling happpily." Yay!", Peppa shrieked happily.

They got home and Peppa had her dinner and went to bed. She loved her first day at the play group a lot. She was indeed pretty excited to go back tomorrow as well.Bye bye Peppa... see you again soon! Good night!!
