Current score; 22-23. Suga switched out with Kageyama again. Your team was in the lead by one point. You chugged down your water tiredly. "We need to come up with something that will ensure us another point." Rin sighed.
"Y/n, Kenma, do you think you can replicate Hinata's and Kageyama's quick again?" Kayla asked, sitting anxiously on the bench.
"I doubt it. Besides, it's too risk to try it now this late in the game." You explained. "Kenma can do another setter dump."
"Sure, I can do that." Kenma agreed.
"Okay perfect. Now, what's another strategy?"
"The synchronized attack! We haven't done it since the first set, so they won't expect it!" Sara beamed.
"Alright! We do a setter dump then a synchronized attack." Rin concluded.

You ran to the other side of the court, slashing the air. "Setter dump!" Kageyama shouted.
"Got it!" Noya yelled as he dug up the ball.
You and Kenna's breath hitched.
Damn it!
Hinata spiked the ball, tying up the score.
"Brush it off, Kenma!" Sara clapped. Kenma tensed up. "Sorry, that was on me. I made it too obvious."
"Don't worry about it." You smiled. "We still have the sync attack to do."
Kageyama served the ball. Misaki threw her arms foward. "Chance ball!"
She bumped the ball towards Kenma. You, BB, Rin, and Sara pushed off the balls of your feet and ran towards the net. "It's another synchronized attack!" Daichi shouted.
Kenma eyed you as you ran behind him. He pushed the ball off his hands, setting it backwards. You closed your eyes.

I spiked the ball down the line.
The whistle blew.
You fell back onto the court. Your team cheered. "ALRIGHT!"
"Oh my god it's a deuce!" Bokuto sighed. "Now they have to play to 26!"
"I'm exhausted just watching them, I wonder how tired they must be." Kuroo panted.
You regrouped with your team in the center of the court. "What should we do now?" Rin asked.
"Kenma, give me another line shot." You demanded. He nodded. "Sure."
"Should we try another synchronized attack?" Sara asked.
"They'll probably expect it." BB muttered.
"...Y/n...let's try the quick attack." Kenma whispered. You and the girls turned to him. "...Kenma, are you sure?"
"I've been watching the way you do the line shot....and I noticed you closed your eyes."
"Y/n, you've been closing your eyes!? Are you crazy!?" BB slapped your forearm.
"Ow. I don't mean to. I just sort of do." You mumbled.
"Exactly my point." Kenma clarified. "She trusts my sets enough to close her eyes for a line shot."
"So you're saying...if she trusts you, you could set the ball to her to form a quick?" Misaki asked.
Kenma nodded. "Do you trust me, y/n?"
You stared at the ground. "Let's do the line shot, then the quick." You grinned.
"Yay! We're gonna win!!" Misaki cheered.

Rin power served the ball over net, Noya retrieving the ball. Kageyama eyed Hinata on the left side of the court. You and BB ran to his end. Kageyama set the ball backwards, Tanaka ready to spike.
"Crap!" BB cursed.
Tanaka spiked the ball.
Misaki watched as it was about to hit the floor.
I-I can't reach it in time. It's too far!! Crap crap crap we're going to lose! What am I gonna do...
With quick thinking, Misaki kicked out her foot, the ball bouncing off the side of her shoe.
