Almost all the bands that played in the Orpheum went on to be extremely famous. Preparing for their stardom were four band mates. Sunset Curve was bound to be famous.
One, two, three
Luke the lead guitarist, shared a smile with the rest and began to sing, the music coursing through him.
Take off, last stop Countdown 'til we blast open the top Face first, full charge Electric hammer to the heart
As they reached the chorus, everyone started jamming. Bobby lifted his guitar and played a riff, his fingers moving across the guitar like electricity.
Clocks move forward But we don't get older, no
Reggie, the bassist joined Luke as they shared a mic. They could feel the music pounding in their ears.
Won't stop climbing 'Cause this is our time, yeah When all the days felt black and white Those were the best shades of my life Don't look down 'Cause we're still rising Up right now And even if we hit the ground We'll still fly Keep dreaming like we'll live forever But live it like it's now or never
Alex, the drummer started his solo backed by Reggie.
We ain't searching for tomorrow "Tomorrow ", Reggie echoed 'Cause we got all we need today (today) Living on a feeling that's been running through our veins We're the revolution that's been singing in the rain
The band started clapping their hands and Alex hit his drumsticks, smirking at each other.

Luke swung his guitar across his body and struck a chord, perfectly timed by the burst of smoke from the stage.
And even if we hit the ground We'll still fly Keep dreaming like we'll live forever But live it like it's now or never It's now or never (now or never)
The band ended the song with adrenaline pumping through them and smiles graced on each of their faces. The boys started chattering with excitement as the people running around the Orpheum started cheering. "Whoo! Excellent!" "Sound great guys!" "Whoo! Yeah!", the worker near them cheered. This was the biggest night of their lives. They were going to be legends and nothing could stop them. "Thank you ", Reggie told the workers, "we're Sunset Curve."
"Too bad we wasted the tightest we played on sound check", Bobby said as they got down from the stage. "Wait until tonight, man, when this place gets packed with record exes", Luke said excitedly. "Alex you were smoking", Reggie told gesturing towards Alex. "Oh no. I was just warming up. You guys were the ones on fire", Alex modestly said, undermining himself. "Could you just own your awesomeness for once", Reggie said exasperatedly. "Huh?", Luke encouraged as Alex said excitedly, "Alright, I was killing it." The boys high five as Luke suggested, "OK, well, I'm thinking we fuel up before the show. I'm thinking street dogs." "Ooh" "Yes!" They say in agreement as Bobby walks towards a girl wiping down the tables "Hey Bobby! Where are you going", the boys cry out behind him as he nonchalantly responds, "I'm good." "Vegetarian. Could never hurt an animal", Bobby tells the girl. The rest of the boys come up behind him when the girl says, " You guys are really good". Luke thanks her as she continues, " I see a lot of bands. Been in a couple myself. I was really feeling it." "That's what we do this for. I'm Luke by the way", Luke says introducing himself, with a hand on Bobby's shoulder ,as the boys join. "Hi, I'm reggie" "Alex" Bobby introduces himself in an unusually deep voice pushing Luke behind him, "Bobby." "Nice meeting you guys. I'm Rose", she introduced herself. "Oh uh.... here's our demo. And a T-shirt. Size beautiful", said Reggie handing her their demo and a Sunset Curve T-shirt . Alex groaned at his band mate's words as Rose hung the T-shirt on her shoulder, "Oh thank you. I'll make sure not to wipe the tables down with this one" "Good call 'cause whenever they get wet, they kind of just fall apart in your hands", Alex said gesturing towards his hands. "Don't you have to go get hot dogs ?", Bobby said suggestively. "Yeah, he had a hamburger for lunch", Luke told Rose as he went out, with Alex and Reggie clapping Bobby on his back. "That's what I'm talking about", Luke said as he pushed open the back door making his way onto an alley. Reggie chuckled as Alex questioned, "The smell of Sunset Boulevard ?" "No", Luke chuckled, " Its what that girl said in there tonight. About our music? It's like an energy. It connects us with people." "They can feel us when we play. I want that connection with everybody", he said pulling the boys closer. "Then we're going to need more T-shirt's", Reggie said causing the boys to snicker. "Let's go boys" They pulled up their hoods as they walked past long lines of people waiting to see them play. Reggie gave out a couple of their T-shirts to girls waiting in line, "Ladies", he said winking. "Oh my god! It's Reggie" " Reggie wait!" "Oh my god! Hi It's me!" The girls squealed when they realised who he was as Reggie walked away with the boys. While they were getting hotdogs Alex spilt some pickles on the battery cables in the back of the car where they were served. "Man....I can't wait until we eat someplace where the condiments aren't served out of the back of an Oldsmobile", Alex said exasperatedly. "Hey...Sorry, I got some pickle juice on your battery cable", he told the person making the hotdogs. "No problem. It'll help with the rust", he chuckled patting Alex's arm. "That can't...OK. What.", Alex said weirded out, walking with the boys to the couch.

"This is awesome you guys. We are playing the Orpheum!",Luke said as they sat down, while the boys looked at him with excitement. "I can't even count how many bands have played here and ended up being huge. We're going to be legends" Reggie chuckled "Eat up boys 'cause after tonight, everything is going to change", Luke said as they raised their hotdogs. They bit in when, Alex said, " That's a new flavour", he said pointedly. "Chill man. Street Dogs haven't killed us yet", Reggie said biting in. Luke sighed and ate the hotdog. The next thing they know is they are floating out of an ambulance while there dead bodies are lying in front of them. Confused and shook they floated out.
The rest of the night was a blur. They never got to live out their dreams of playing the Orpheum and three ghosts escaped into the world.

This is my take on Julie and the Phantoms series. I finished the series in one day and absolutely fell in love with Reggie. Do make sure you give feedback. Creative criticism is appreciated but any haters will be blocked.
