"Mom! Let go of me i have to get on the train!" I whisper shouted to my mom.
" Oh I know but how can I let go of my baby?' My mom said a little to loud in my opinion. It is my fourth year and i can't wait to see my best friends, Lex and Anne. I hugged my mom goodbye one last time and ran off with my trunk before she could grab me again. "LIA MATTHEWS GET YOUR BRILLIANT SELF OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" I turned around to see Lex near the door of the train with her little brother Tom beside her.
"Lex!" I exclaim, Anne had already saved a compartment for the three of us, Tom went off to find his second year Ravenclaw friends,
" Anne, Lex! Tell me everything," I say to the girls. "Well,"
Anne started,
"I was stuck with Tom alllllllll summer but other then that and my run in with James Potter-" I cut her off,
"WHAT?!?" Anne shushed me
"Was Sirius with him?I say much quieter. I have the biggest crush on Sirius Black who was also in my year.
" No, Lia, he was not with James," Anne said, smirking. I slumped my shoulders, but they went right up into my usual posture when none other then the Marauders walked in,
"Ladies, do you mind if we sit here? All the other compartments are full" Rumas Lupin said, I glanced at Anne, she had a HUGE crush on the caramel haired Marauder, she was blushing furiously and quickly moved her raven hair to hide her face.
" Of course," Lex said coolly, having a crush on Rosie Edwards, a girl in Hufflepuff and not one of the Marauders.
I'm guessing that i was beet red because when Sirius sat down next to me (swoon) he asked me if it was to hot in the compartment, obviously i said yes to save my self from embarrassment.
"So, are you boys excited for the yearly pranks?" Lex said,
"Yep!"
"Yeah!"
"Of course!"
"Uh huh"
The four Gryffindors said together. I look at Peter, he sound the least enthusiastic of the bunch.
"What's wrong Peter?" I'm worried, Peter is usually jumping off the walls.
"Oh nothing, just tired"the look on his face told me not to press, so I made a mental note to ask him later.
"How about you lovely ladies, how was your summer?" James asked, " Well, other than you Anne, because i already know al about your summer" he winked at her then turned to me and Lex expectingly.
"I slept a lot," it was true, Lex was like a bear during a lifelong hibernation, and as if to prove it, she yawned. We all laughed.
"And how about you, Sunflower?" Sirius said, using a nickname he himself came up with came up with.
"Hmmm, I saw Lily," James straightened up at the mention of Lily Evens, which he did not keep a secret that he had a huge crush on.
" And she has a message for you James," I said with a smirk, James was practically jumping out of his seat, "She told me to tell you that if I see you to call you a 'idiotic toe rag' no offence" I say, Sirius snickered, however, James looked over joyed
"See Padfoot? It's all part of my master plan to get her to go out with me!"
"Sure, Prongs, sure"
The group started to talk about quidditch, so I let myself get lost in my thoughts.
" Oi! Lia!"
Sirius interrupted my thought train, i'm not complaining.
"Yeah?"
"We have to get changed into our robes" He said, as looked directly at his face, I noticed he had a healing cut from the bridge of his nose down to his chin.
" What happened?!" I say, it looked bad.
"Oh this?" he gestured to his cut, "Nothing, just my mother" He said the word 'mother' with such disgust it was almost like she had dumped flobber worms on his head all summer. I decided to leave it, he did not look like he wanted to talk about it.
I grabbed my Gryffindor robes and raced to the loo to get changed.
