*Laya Kamidoi's POV*

May 30th.

It's been a total of six years since I've been back to my home nation Korea. It's very different compared to the America's, but America has kind of grown on me. My parent's are always busy working so I barely get to see them therefore, I've been on my own since the age of 13. I used to have a nanny, but once I turned 13 my parents said they trusted me enough to be on my own. Suddenly, I've received news that we're moving back to Korea so they could expand their business out there. It was quite surprising but I considered New York City my home and I have to leave my friends, my performing arts school. I had three months to get all my things packed up. We're supposed to be moved into our new home by August so I could enroll into another school before the school season actually started.

July 20th.

It's been a month and two weeks, we've already started taking apart our house and packing things up. While I was packing my things, I was remembering things I could remember about Korea. I remember the food, especially the Ramen my best friend and I would get from the corner stores. I miss my best friend, her name was Guam Jandi. I've been in contact with her, mainly because she had her family track me down after I left. She's such a silly, outgoing person, I wouldn't change her for the world. I called her after I found out I was moving back to Korea, I have never heard that girl scream so loud before in my life. At least it's good to know she missed me just as much as I missed her. I packed up most of my room already, the other rooms like the dining room, living room, my parents studies, my study, the only thing that's left is the kitchen. I'll probably start that soon. Anyways, I'm going to get some sleep.

August 1st.

Today is the day, I'm officially moving back to Korea. I never thought this day would come again but here we are. Our house belongings were already in Korea. We had a moving company set up the house so its prepared for when we get there. I never thought that I would be going back so soon. My parents and I got into a taxi with out suitcases in the trunk. I put my headphones in and rested my head against the seat, trying to mentally prepare myself for this long flight ahead of us. Once we arrive at the airport, we gather our bags from the trunk then make our way inside. We check in and wait for our gate number to be called. 30 minutes later, They call our gate number. We board the plane and find our seats. I buckle my seatbelt and wait for takeoff. Once we take off, I blast my music through my headphones. I grab the blanket they provided and I fall asleep.

14 hours and 16 minutes later

We just landed I grab my carryon bag and I make my way to exit off the plane. As I exit the plane and I look around seeing the city from across the bridge. My parents catch up with me and pull me along so we can gather our suitcases. We walk into the Seoul airport and we go to the area where we wait for our suitcases, as we're waiting I recieved a text from Jandi.

"Helloo!! Have you landed yet?" - Jandi

"Yes!!! We're waiting for our belongings now then we're heading to the new house. You have the address right?" - Laya

"Yes I do!! I'll be waiting at the house for your arrival. xoxo" - Jandi

I chuckled softly shaking my head after I read her text. I put my phone back into my jacket pocket. I walked over to the moving machine and I collected my suitcase. My father already collected his, he was outside waiting with the taxi. My mother and I got our things before making our way out front. My father put our bags in the trunk as my mother and I climbed into the taxi. After my father put everything in the trunk, he climbed in and looked at my mother and I.
