Ship: Daichi x Sugawara

Sugawara had always dreamed of becoming a parent, especially after marrying his high school sweetheart Daichi, the two had tried for a baby for almost two years and finally succeeded.
Their little girl was about 7 months old now, her silver hair still messy from just waking up as she cuddled against Suga's chest with quiet babbles, his arm securely tucked beneath her to keep hold as he waited for the coffee to finish.
The silver haired male looked down at the sleepy baby nestled against his chest, her brown eyes focusing on his own as she let out a soft coo, plopping her cheek against his chest with a yawn and whine, a small protest to fight to stay awake.
"It's okay Chi.." he soothed softly, gabbing a mug and filling it almost to the top with coffee before adding milk and sugar into it, giving a gentle kiss to her head as she began to drift back off.
Most of the night before had been spent trying to soothe the fussy baby who was in the middle of teething, cutting in another tooth.
The only thing that seemed to help was Suga holding her up against his chest, which he didn't mind in the least.
Looking back down at her, his lips parted in a smile, she looked so happy now.
"Hey sleepy heads.." Daichi mused as he eyed sleepy Chiharu and an equally sleepy Sugwara who was fighting back another yawn.
"Babe why don't you go back to bed? I'll take care of her.." Daichi explained, realizing just how tired the other looked as Suga gave a reluctant look before nodding. The coffee isn't doing much, it seemed to have a reverse effect today, it just made him more sleepy.
Gently shifting Chiharu who peaked her eyes open as she was being handed off to Daichi who held her equally as close, kissing her fluffy hair.
"Hello princess.." he mused as Suga smiled and stood, wandering off to the bedroom.
Leaving Daichi to stand in the kitchen with a half empty cup of coffee and a fussy baby nestled in his arms.

The morning had passed slowly for Daichi, Chiharu had been napping on and off, having ate breakfast and getting in extra snuggle time with daddy seemed to improve her mood to an extent.
It was now early afternoon and Daichi was located in her nursery, a soft spring green with his and Suga's jerseys framed above her crib.
He was looking through her clothes as she sat in her crib, babbling slowly and chewing on the most recent plush Hinata had bought, it was a lavender colored bunny and it had seemed to be her latest plushie fixation despite all the others he had.
Raising a brow, Daichi continued digging through her clothes until he found what he was looking for. The silly little bunny onesie he had bought on an entire whim, determined to spoil his child with all kinds of clothes.
After a bit of a struggle to get her into the outfit, he finally managed to be quite proud of himself as he gently put the hood on her head, earning a laugh and a slobbery kiss to the cheek as he laughed in return.
"My silly bun.." he mused softly, patting her back as he walked down the hallway and peaked into the bedroom where Suga was, his head just barely poking out from where his body was curled up under the comforter.
"Ma!" Chiharu squeaked, gripping onto Daichis shirt as he bounced her gently against his hip.
"Okay okay, we will see if mama is awake.." he mused stepping into the room as his eyes adjusted to the darkness as Chiharu continued to babble as she was placed on the bed, drooling all over her stuffed rabbit.
"Mm..?" Suga mumbled, cracking an eye open as Chiharu giggled and continued to babble as she scooted closer to Suga, plopping down on her side to lay beside her mother.
"Hi baby.." he mused, rubbing his finger against her rosy cheek as she cooed, letting him gently pull her closer as he looked up to Daichi.
"Would you like to join the cuddle pile?" Suga asked as Daichi laughed and nodded, carefully lowering himself onto the bed as Chiharu giggled, turning her head to look at Daichi.
"Where did you find this?" Suga mused seeing Chiharu's outfit as he mindlessly played with the floppy bunny ears attached to the hood, much to the small girl's amusement as she burst into giggles.
Meanwhile her father gave a sheepish grin and shrug, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I may have ordered it because I thought it was cute.." he admitted as Suga laughed and nodded, looking at Chiharu who had a firm grip on his finger, chewing on them with a soft whine.
"Here, I'll go get her teething ring.." Daichi mused, getting off the bed and leaving the room as Suga sat up, scooping the fussy baby up in his arms as Daichi came back, easing himself down on the bed as Chiharu made grabby hands.
Giving a light chuckle, he handed the frozen toy to her as she hiccuped and happily gnawed on it, a look of relief on her face as she leaned back against Suga who was glancing anxiously at her.
"Sugawara?" Daichi questioned, titling his head as the other looked at him. "Are you alright?" He asked as Suga gave a shrug.
"Just upset that she's teething so bad right now.." he responded as Daichi responded, his fingers reaching to run through the silver locks of hair on the two's heads.
"Well she seems happy now.." Daichi mused as Suga nodded, kissing the top of her head as she smiled and babbled, shaking her drool covered teething ring.
"She's perfect.." Daichi commented and Suga blinked, a bit caught off guard by the other.
"And our family is perfect.. and.." the darker haired male paused to lean in to kiss the other.
"So are you.." he grinned cheekily, cupping the others cheek gently as Sugawara leaned in to give the other a kiss in return.
The other was right, they did in fact have a perfect family.
