Sirens and flashings lights go off. I've almost been caught again. At least they won't find me since I blend into the shadows. All those children and adults running outside terrified, it does bring a smile to my face. I look back at everything and then go home.

My mother and father barely even noticed I was gone - guess that's the perks of having nobody caring. I close my bedroom door and look out the window. The lights are still flashing in the distance but the sirens are unheard.

I don't feel guilt for the stuff I do but it still hurts when people blame me without evidence - even if the blaming is a joke. Yet I'd still rather have friends for defence if those jokes are taken seriously though.

I'll come up with a plan to get my fellow classmates to trust me. Maybe do their chores to make their life a little easier. I'd like to just kill them but then I'd have no alibi. Before I know it, I'm out cold.

The light moon (the sun in the vampire world) is now up so I must be as well. I put on my uniform, blazer and all. I don't bother with breakfast and just grab my messenger bag. I now leave off to school.

Now here's an issue. The police are outside the school building, possibly interrogating students about what happened last night. No doubt they'll interrogate me too. There's no avoiding this.

I walk over to the crowd and police. Now I don't have a heartbeat but I could've sworn my heart was racing. Is it the feeling of being scared or anticipation?

Everybody turns towards me, a dead silence fills the area. "It was him!" One person cries. I keep my expression blank. A police officer walks towards me, her eyes giving a cold sharp glare. She takes me away from everyone else and starts asking me questions. "Where were you at XXX time?", "Did you see anybody?".

I keep my voice monotone and my expression blank. Yet she was still able to tell I was lying. I tried not to break but a dark chuckle slips out. This causes her to give me a glare. Guess that was a dead giveaway - besides the lying.

She puts me in handcuffs and takes me to the police vehicle. All eyes are locked onto me. People with looks of disgust, some whispering, some laughing, some are even yelling rude words. "Jerk", "lowlife", "disgusting freak".

This isn't the first time I've had trouble with the police, but this is the first time in front of people. I used to be able to break out of the handcuffs and run off but now they've made them stronger.

All their words echo in my head, getting louder and louder. Am I actually worried? I can nolonger comprehend what's happening around me. All so fast yet so slow.

How can I come back from this?
