The Red Circle

The Red Circle: Part 1 (50 remaining)

A black room appeared. People are standing on circles and fast asleep. There is pure darkness behind each person and no one knows how they got there. Soon, a man wakes up, yelling, "Where am I?!!" He stands in silence for a few minutes and tries to step off the circle he's standing on. A buzzer goes off signaling that he should NOT do that. After a while, some buzzing lights come on and some dude freaks out so much that he tries to run.

ZAP!

He got shot by a laser coming from a strange orb in the middle of the room. Everyone freaked out as they watched the body getting tugged away by an unknown force. After everyone calms down, there is a suspense sound filling the room. Everyone panics as they watched someone get killed.

ZAP!

That's 2 down. Apparently, someone realises that this thing chooses randomly when we don't do something.

???: "We need to figure out what's going on here."

???: "Like what? People are dying like every minute! What are we supposed to do?"

???: "Maybe let's stay calm and try and figure this orb out."

Someone would pull a piece of paper out of their pocket.

???: "Huh? Voting?"

???: "What do you mean, 'voting'?"

???: "Apparently, we have these small devices in our pockets. And we choose the person we want to die."

???: "To die!?! That is totally crazy! Why would we choose someone to die?"

???: "Possibly to save our own butts from not getting killed."

???: "So, then we are supposed to-"

ZAP!

A random woman would get killed at random.

???: "Jesus Christ!! What was that?!"

???: "Apparently a laser.."

Someone would read the paper. "There is about 3 minutes between each round. When the sound comes on, you must choose who you want to vote. Whoever has the most votes will die by a laser being shot at them. If 2 people have the same number of votes, then there will be a red beam surrounding you and the other person. Whoever has the most votes will die. If both of the people still have the same number of votes, then they both die. Good luck and stay alive."

???: "Well, that's pretty interesting.."

???: "Maybe we should start introducing ourselves, so we could get to know each other."

A person would have the courage to speak up. "Hello, I'm Kim. I work at an office building. I have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am a single mother, so I have no husband but 2 kids."

???: "Perfect.. I'm Justin. I was working at a coffee shop for 3 years now. I have a wife named Valerie but I don't have kids. I don't have any pets either."

???: "Cool. So, who's ne-"

A chime would play.

Kim: "Holy crap!"

???: "Everyone, choose who you want to vote!"

The sound would get intense.

ZAP!

Another person got shot by a laser. Someone who didn't even talk. The 3 minutes started again.

???: "Alright... I'm Greg. I'm a social studies teacher and worked part-time at a grocery store. I'm single and have no kids. I have 2 pets, Macy and Tracie."
