Parents always tell their kid to always tell the truth no matter the consequences. But somehow they find themselves doing the same thing and never expect us as children to react to it. Because we're children and because they're the adults. It's basically like they're saying that we have no control over anything that happens in our lives. They always make it seem like they're going through hell more than anyone, but do they ever truly sit down and ask your kids what they're going through.
No they don't because we're just kids we're just teenagers we will never understand the hardships of life until we have to pay bills or work 8 hours a day. But that's not true, well at least I don't think so. When your teenager you're trying to find yourself, find out who you are, what your sexuality is, what kind of person you want to be in life, what kind of job you want and it's very difficult especially with so many judgemental and hormonal people around you. Especially the teenagers.
They say they've been through the teenage stage already and they know what we're going through we're just over exaggerating. But sometimes we're not. Sometimes we are literally sitting in their faces crying for help and they don't even notice because they never choose to sit down and listen because they just believe that they have the weight of the world on their shoulders, and they don't need any more problems and always make us children feel like we're burden. And we shouldn't feel that way.
Everyone always wondered why I became who I am. A quiet introverted bold and very blunt person. I never thought that anyone would get it. I just felt as though I would burden someone else with my problems so I kept my mouth shut. But I shouldn't have. Because now I feel like I'm turning into someone I never wanted to be.
Being bullied both at home and at school, it's a lot. No one should have to go through that. The verbal, physical, emotional and mental abuse of being bullied is just awful. And no ever truly understands it.
