(Oh God, do these girls have speakers installed in their throats? They’re going to burst my eardrums.)
Kunj, unimpressed, rolled his eyes. "Uh, do you have hearing problems or something? I *really* don’t care who any of you are, so stop repeating this line like a broken record. You all sound like a scratched CD that needs fixing."
Twinkle, Trisha, and Natasha fisted their hands in fury, their faces burning red with embarrassment and rage. The normally loud and brash Meghna, meanwhile, decided to stay silent, retreating to the back of the group, clearly uncomfortable with the turn of events.
"Done with your drama?" Kunj asked, his voice sharp with indifference. "Good. Now move aside, you’re blocking my way."
That was the final blow. The crowd couldn’t hold back anymore—they burst into laughter, some slapping their knees, others covering their mouths to stifle their giggles. Twinkle and her friends, once the reigning queens of the campus, now stood utterly humiliated.
Kunj brushed past them with cool indifference, leaving Twinkle, Natasha, and Trisha standing there, shocked, embarrassed, and thoroughly insulted. They had no comeback, no plan of attack. All they could do was watch him leave, their egos in shambles.
"Oye, wait for me!" Avi called out, snapping back to reality as he rushed to follow Kunj. But before he left, he turned toward the trio with a smirk. Stepping closer, he leaned in just enough for them to hear and whispered, "My friend may not know who you are, but trust me, considering the kind of women you are, you really won’t be pleased to know who *he* is. So, beware."
With that, he gave them a cocky grin and strolled off to catch up with Kunj, leaving Twinkle and her crew simmering in their defeat.
"How dare he speak to us like that!" Natasha screeched, stomping her foot on the ground like a petulant child. "To *me*! To *Twinkie*! I won’t spare him!"
The students around them continued to whisper excitedly.
"Who the hell is this guy who just messed with Twinkle?" a female student muttered, wide-eyed with curiosity.
"Whoever he is, he’s my new idol!" a male student giggled, clearly enjoying the downfall of the notorious T-Gang.
"He’s so hot though," another girl murmured dreamily, unable to take her eyes off Kunj as he walked away.
Kunj was effortlessly captivating. Tall and strikingly handsome, he carried himself with an understated confidence that made him even more alluring. His hazel-brown eyes, partially hidden behind his glasses, gave him a nerdy appearance—but not the usual kind.
He was the type of nerd who was undeniably attractive, with an edge that set him apart. His messy hair and sharp jawline only added to his charm, making it impossible for anyone watching to look away. The glasses only amplified his appeal, making him the embodiment of a hot, intellectual mystery.
"Shut up, you idiots! Is there some kind of show going on here?!" Trisha snapped, glaring at the students who were still laughing and gossiping around them. But it was too late—the damage was done, and no amount of glaring could erase the fact that they had been completely and utterly owned.
As Kunj and Avi disappeared from sight, the crowd slowly began to disperse, but not without buzzing about the incident. Twinkle and her friends were left standing there, still processing what had just happened, their reputations bruised, and their egos crushed.
Jennifer stepped forward from the crowd, a smug smirk playing on her lips. The tension in the air was palpable, and Trisha, fuming, clenched her fists.
"Here comes the bitch to take a dig at us," Trisha mumbled under her breath, her eyes narrowing at the sight of Jennifer.
"Tch, tch, tch! Didn’t expect this, did you, Twinkle?" Jennifer said, her voice dripping with mockery. "But trust me, everyone’s *loved* this little show," she added, giggling as her friends joined in, clearly relishing the moment.
"You—" Natasha started, pointing an accusing finger at Jennifer, but before she could continue, Jennifer cut her off. "Ah ah, this doesn’t suit you, Natasha. After getting humiliated like that, where’s this attitude coming from?" Jennifer smirked, tilting her head in mock pity.
"Damn, I never thought I’d see the day when the great Twinkle Taneja and her little crew of nobodies would be insulted in front of everyone—by a *newbie*, no less. And the cherry on top? A *nerd*!" Jennifer winked at Twinkle, her words hitting like sharp jabs.
"What’s wrong, Twinkle?" one of Jennifer’s friends, Nish, chimed in, her voice laced with sarcasm. "No snappy comebacks today?"
Jennifer laughed mockingly. "How could she, Nish? She’s probably too embarrassed, too humiliated to even form a sentence."
"Just shut up, Jennifer!" Trisha snapped, stepping forward threateningly. "Or this won’t end well for you and your bunch of idiots."
Jennifer and her friends laughed even louder, unfazed by Trisha’s warning. "Oops, Trisha! Still clinging to that invincible act even after your whole facade has been torn apart in front of everyone? How pathetic." Jennifer giggled, her taunts hitting hard as the crowd continued to watch the unfolding drama.
Twinkle, who had remained silent throughout Jennifer’s mocking, finally rolled her eyes. She knew Jennifer was just trying to stir the pot, and as much as it irked her, she wasn’t in the mood to play along.
"Guess what, Jennifer? You can enjoy your two minutes of fame and soak in this so-called ‘victory,’ but I don’t care," Twinkle said, her voice cold and dismissive. She turned on her heel, walking away with her head held high, leaving Jennifer smirking behind her.
Jennifer’s laughter echoed behind them as Twinkle and her gang moved through the dispersing crowd, trying to shake off the sting of the public humiliation. The students, still buzzing with gossip, glanced between Jennifer and Twinkle, clearly divided between amusement and shock at how the campus bullies had been taken down not once but twice in a single day.
For once, the reign of Twinkle and her friends seemed to be cracking, and the crowd could sense it. And in that moment, Jennifer, grinning triumphantly, had seized her opportunity to rub salt in the wounds, leaving Twinkle and her crew with no choice but to retreat in silence.
