"What is that?" Ravi wondered, looking around

"A whole group of psychopaths." Aliya freaked, watching a huge crowd of sprinting adults grow closer to them

Somehow the duo both got caught in the group, dragging them all the way back to where Zuri and Jessie still sat. They scrambled to break free from the crowd before they could be dragged any further.

Aliya spotted a sheet of paper stuck to Ravi's face and quickly tore it off, as he gasped in pain, "Oops."

"Kids! Are you alright?" Jessie asked

"We were watching the ducks in the pond when we saw a mob of people running towards us. My instinct was to flee." Ravi shouted

"And my instinct was to follow the smart kid." Aliya gasped, still trying to catch her breath from the second run of the day

"Guys, it's just a 5k run." Jessie laughed, looking down at the sheet in Aliya's hand

"Didn't you have runs back in India?" Zuri asked

"Only when I ate bad chicken tikka." Ravi groaned

"Nasty." Zuri and Aliya both gagged at the boy's excessive information

"Come on, guys. We need to leave Jessie alone. She needs to work on her song...a lot." Zuri confessed, quickly pushing the two others away from their joint nanny

__________

Zuri, Ravi, and Aliya trudged back to the hotel, already bored with all the free time they had left in the day.

When the trio entered the hotel doors, the lobby was packed with crowds of busy, mean looking adults. Tony was sprinting around, handing random things to different people.

"Oh my goodness! This looks like the Calcutta train station during rush hour. Which is every hour." Ravi exclaimed, as they approached the busy bell boy

"It's Doormageddon!" Tony freaked, rushing back to his desk

Zuri and Aliya followed behind, setting their arms on the desk top, "Can we help you, Tony?"

"Thanks, but you could never handle it." Tony sighed, shuffling around some papers on his desk

The trio all smirked at each other before moving to the front of the room. Zuri rubbed her fingers together and whistled loudly, grabbing everyone's attention

"Okay, people, two groups! Those who live here, and those who wish they did!" Zuri shouted

Aliya moved to go to one of the designated sides, but Ravi quickly dragged her back over, "You're going the wrong way."

"Totally knew that." The girl lied, laughing to hide her embarrassment

Ravi may have been younger than the Dresmond girl, but he had always been the academically smarter one. The same couldn't be said for street smarts.

"Group one, kindly follow me to the elevator." Ravi smiled

"Group two, don't let the door hit you where Mother Nature split you." Aliya smirked, shooing the other group off

A small girl with Girl Scout cookies, approached the elevator before Zuri stopped her, "Oh, heck to the no! This building is my turf!"

The small girl managed to give the best puppy dog look she could, quickly winning Zuri over, "Oh, okay, peddle your cookies. But, I will need a two box kick-back."

The girl handed her the boxes before skipping onto the elevator.

"Ew. Thin mints. Where are the Tagalongs." Aliya gagged, glaring at the boxes

Tony thanked the trio, before rushing off to handle something, leaving the three alone in the lobby

The group all ran behind the desk and began to listen in on the conversations happening in the penthouse.

Jessie and Luke were discussing different ways to come up with money for something.

Zuri pressed the mic button and leaned in, "Maybe I can help you out."

Aliya quickly nudged her out of the way and leaned into the microphone, "She's lying. We're definitely not helping Luke. Jessie...maybe."

"Wow. Thank you so much for the consideration." Jessie sarcastically replied, "It's not polite to eavesdrop."

"I can let you have a hundred bucks." Zuri coaxed

"Keep talking." Jessie agreed

"And I can give you the rest in rupees." Ravi offered with a smile

"Again, I will not be helping Luke." Aliya repeated, smiling at her own words

"We all know you hide your money in a secret pocket of your marshmallow pillow." Luke taunted, "We'll get it ourselves."

"Don't you dare touch Clink Bink." Aliya snapped

"You shouldn't have touched Kenny you little roach!" He shot back

"Okay, we get it. You're both insecure about still having stuffed animals...back to the money conversation." Jessie interrupted as Zuri squeezed back in front of the mic

"When this thing goes south, I get my money back before you." Zuri whispered to Ravi, covering the mic with her hand

_________

"Hey, where you been, door munchkins?" Tony asked when the trio of young kids got back from dropping off money to Jessie and Luke

"We gave Jessie and Luke money for their music video." Zuri smiled

"They have been discovered by a big-time producer." Ravi continued, handing Tony the pamphlet with all of the information

"J.J. Mayfield? The guy's a scam artist!" Tony exclaimed, looking over the pamphlet, "He takes advantage of suckers with big dreams and small IQs.

"How do you know?" Aliya asked

"Cus I was one of those suckers. Last year, J.J. told me he could open doors, but 1200 later, the only one opening doors is me." Tony continued

"And this is why we don't invest in Luke Ross, people." Aliya smiled, contempt with her earlier decisions

______

After tons of convincing and bribing, Jessie and Luke convinced everyone to be in their home made video after their previous deal went bad.

The group all sat in the movie room to watch it on the big TV.

"You know I'm a good actor when I can smile while dancing with Luke." Aliya whispered to Ravi, while watching herself on the screen

"May be a good actor...can't say the same about your dancing though." Luke whispered back, leaning onto Ravi and Aliya's chair

Their arguing was interrupted by the rest of the room applauding at the end of the music video.

"Tony, that was awesome." Jessie complimented his camera work

"Wow, you really are an angel on the kazoo." Luke added

"It's a gift." Tony smirked, waving his hand

"Well, I'm still wiped out from my day off, so I'm gonna go up to my room." Jessie smiled

The rest of the group all got up to run after her, having nothing else to do but bother her.
