The Brother That Was Never Known

Chapter 3

Lily drove Brice around to find a hotel for him. Took awhile all the nice ones were all full. Lily keep on telling the people at the front desk that she found it funny there was not hotel rooms in such a big hotel not even a presidential suite or a pent house available how crazy. Lily and Brice pretty much just spent the day together. They went out to dinner together and everything till they finally found a hotel. Even though all the had open was a pent house. But Brice was okay with it. Lily helped him with his things and went to the penthouse . It was amazing. It was very big, had this flat screen TV surrounded by white couches. Then in the room next to that it had a king size bed then a walking in closet which was right next to the bathroom. The bathroom had a walk in shower with 3 shower heads and the toilet had this thing next to it Lily didn’t know what it was. She had to ask Brice and Brice laughed at her say it a bidets. Lily was so amazed. It was nothing she has ever seen before. She has always lived on the farm never went on many trips because her mom wouldn’t let her go on them. After Brice got situated and comfortable in his room Lily and Brice ordered room service. They really just ordered desserts because they already ate dinner. They rented a movie and sat on the couch and watched the movie, They didn’t really watch it though they were too busy talking about what their life was like, learning about each other. I’ve never seen people click so well. After a while Lily got a call from someone it was their mom. She answered. Lily laughed while answering the phone and said “Hello.” Her mom said “Where are you ? Why wouldn’t you tell me that you are leaving the house? Would of been nice to know Lillian.”

“I’m sorry i’m at a hotel right now with Brice he didn’t want to stay in the hut sorry”

“Are you kidding me you're with Brice. . . That is the stupidest thing you could of done.”

“You were the one that kicked him out he need a place to say I was giving him a ride and getting to know someone I never got to know because of you.”

“I want you to come home before you do something stupid with your life to.”

“I’m not doing anything stupid were just hanging out getting to know the brother I didn’t know existed thanks to you.”

“Fine if you don’t come home you can stay with him for the rest of the week see what it’s like to have your life's ruined. See what it’s like to have no life. See the real world and see how bad it’s going to treat you and then come crawling back to the farm begging to stay forever.”        

Lily then hanged up the phone and looked up at Brice. Didn’t say anything at first then asked “Can I stay here for with you for a week?”

Brice said “Of course you can. We can go get you some of your clothes to stay here tomorrow” Once the movie ended Brice and Lily were getting tired. Lily started setting up her bed to sleep on which was the couch and then Brice came out of the bedroom and said “You can sleep on the bed i’ll take the couch.” Lily replied “No i’ll take the couch I don’t mind.”

“No you’re taking the bed.” He lifted Lily up and took her to the bed and tucked her in. He started walking out but before he did he said “Good night my baby Lily.” Lily replied “Good night.”

The next day came. Lily woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon. She got up to go see if it was true and it was. Brice had set the table for them to it. It looked so nice nothing you would ever see on the farm. He set out a white tablecloth had one pick rose in a clear vase halfway full  of water and had orange juice in a clear glass picture with a champagne bottle next to it. and two plates across from each other both had waffles and bacon on them. with some fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and orange wedges. In front of the plates was clear wine glasses. Brice looked up at Lily and said “Have a seat I made breakfast for you.”
