Before you start see the video above you? That's some music for you to listen while reading this story, if you would like anyways, this is my first story so if there's any mistakes tell me down below. Now that's all over, enjoy!
Ahh, the nice air breeze...I blinked back as the sun as it was getting brighter and brighter. I was in my scuba gear so it was extra hot. I put on the snorkel and walked over to the edge of the pier, and stared at the light blue sea. I haven't come here since I was a kid. When it was me, mom and dad we use to come every every Saturday, the day before they dropped me off at my grandmothers house to stay for a day. I wish I could have went longer, but Saturday scuba diving was out tradition, and little did I know it was all going to come to a end. Until I grew up...Well that's the past and now I can go scuba diving when I want too, well if I don't have work that is.
Oh, how rude of me. I haven't even introduce myself, my name is Naomi Harlow, I am a 22 year old woman who just got out of college last month. I always wanted to be a Hydrologist since I was young, the water has been calling my name for a long time. Okay, okay. Let me finally stop talking. I stared at the water, why was I shaking I did this all my childhood, and still doing it in my adulthood, I just breathed in and out. Then jumped in the water.
I started swimming and this time I planned on going longer then 16 minutes. I looked at my waterproof watch, and saw the time was 4:30, I had to meet Jasmine at 5:10, if I swim for at least 20 or an extra few minutes I might have time to get ready. I kept going and going. I saw lots of fish, goldfishes, clown fishes, guppies, blue tangs, and others names I'm still working on. I waved to them, then left to go further into the deep blue sea, it was so cloudy down here I tried to go around it so I would be able to see but, that plan barley worked.
When I kept swimming I went so far down, that I was able too see the ocean floor. It was a gray color it felt kind of nice when I stepped on it. Then I just noticed something weird as soon when the cloudiness dispersed. It was runes and on the runes were weird symbols and the runes was small but big enough to see the symbols, I was kind of creeped out but.. also kind of curious. One of the runes symbols looked like a rain symbol it was so weird others didn't look like anything I recognized. I put my hand out but stopped it, I wanted to touch it I don't know why... but I didn't want to get cursed or anything.
By some symbol ghost who died here, or something, but my dumb self did it anyway. I don't know if what happened to me was a curse or a blessing, but as soon as I went over slowly and carefully traced each 5 runes with my finger I was about to go to write this down in my laptop, but the ocean ground started to shake and the runes started to glow. "Oh, no. Oh, no. This is my fault, now I'm never going to be able to become a Hydrologist." I closed my eyes bracing myself for impact. I opened one of my eyes, and looked around. The only thing out of ordinary was the runes, it was glowing gold for a few seconds. I. Was. Creeped. OUT!
I hoped you guys, enjoyed the first, chapter I got this idea from Pinterest but I forgot the person who did it there were asking for something to make a story like this so here I am. If there's any questions asked them down below, and if you have any tips for me ask that down below too. Bye everybody!
