"Fuck- No- Come on-" There she hung, her frail fingers curled around the rotting wood of the ledge she'd leapt to in attempts to cross the roof in her relentless attempt at escaping this hell of a facility. As she used her pure strength trying to lift herself unto the ledge, the weight of her dangling body caused the already cracking wood to begin breaking. With loud snaps and cracks, the small piece of wood finally cracked, leaving Wendy to fall stories to the ground, straight onto her back. The pure shock of the impact made her vision temporarily blur; every ounce of oxygen in her frail lungs escaping though her mouth and leaving her gasping for air on the ground. She laid there panting and groaning in pain for what felt like hours to her; until she yanked herself upwards, allowing her body to adjust. Still panting like she'd just ran a marathon, Wendy used a nearby shelf to pull herself to her feet; her balance off guard but doing well enough to keep her on her feet.
"So much for that.." She muttered, picking splinters from her dirty hands. Wendy then pulled out her camera; the one thing that meant anything to her. The footage on this camera was everything she needed to reveal Murkoff's abominations to the world. That, and the night vision mode on it allowed her a small line of sight in the dark; which took up most of the facility. Shining the camera's light in front of her and looking at the small flip out screen to better see her surroundings, the girl made her way through wooden wallframes; climbing over boxes and old mattresses to make her way through the area.
"We don't need any sisters.. Maybe some.. Girls that ain't blood." A voice rang out from a room in front of her. Wendy jumped in response to this, immediately sticking herself to a nearby wall.
"You ain't old enough to be worryin' about it." A second voice spoke from the same area; both sounding like a voice of a young male. As they continued to drone on about girls and useless nonsense, Wendy found herself ignoring them to continue making her way through the walls and around discarded shelves. This went just fine; she found no trouble with either of the men seeing or hearing her, therefore she hadn't concerned herself with their pointless banter.
That is, until one sentence made her body freeze.
"You wanna give 'em to Gluskin." Gluskin? The name seemed so familiar. But why would they bring this up? Wendy shook her head, forcing herself to get back on track of her primary focus; getting out of this shit hole alive. As the small girl squirmed through a tight space; her heart sank- her face going pale as she listened to a tin can hit the ground that her leg had knocked over. An astoundingly loud boom is heard as one of the two men slams their fist on the wall next to her, their dead eyes peering through the slots of the wood at her small, shaking body.
"The rat! Kill the rat in the walls!" Wendy was frozen with fear; her chest heaving with her panicked breathing. With a sudden impulse of fear, she took off running, dashing through the tight wallspace; her heart pounding as the two men talked about her; talking about her being their goat as they searched for her. With no other path in sight, Wendy stood as the end of a pathway blocked by a small shelf - deciding to climb it and hop over to the other side.
"There she is." Wendy's confidence in escaping drops as she turns; seeing one of the men emerging from a door to her left.
"What do you think?"
"Oh, she'll do. We give her to the groom!"
"For once we agree!" Wendy bolts the opposite direction as the man approaches her.
"Shit shit shit- there-!" With a grunt Wendy leaps forward, her ankle just barely escaping the grasp of one of the men. She perches atop a shelf, panting hard like a tired dog as she watches the two men chuckle and grin while walking away. Confused, Wendy hops down the other side, finding herself as the top of a set of stairs and staring down into the dark.
"Here comes the bride~!" One of them chants, their deep chuckles echoing through the shallow walls.
"Fuckin idiot delivered herself right down to Gluskin's hell." Was all she heard trailing away into silence as she descended down to the dark basement below.
