Chapter Two- Saying Goodbye

-still Gabby's pov-
"Good morning sweetie" I'm greeted by my mom as I walk downstairs for breakfast. "Morning" I reply. "Do you know your plans for today? Make sure you aren't too busy because I'd like you to start packing today." I'm not sure what I have planned for today. I decide I'll go to the gym and then hangout with my close friend Bella to tell her the news. I tell my mom my plans and then begin to make waffles for breakfast. As I eat I do what I do any other day, check all my social media accounts to see if Justin Bieber, Hayes Grier, or Shawn Mendes posted anything new. Ah Hayes, what a cutie. I think to myself how Hayes Grier lives in North Carolina, but then I have a reality check and realize the chances of living even an hour away from Hayes were low. When I'm done eating I go upstairs, take a shower, and get dressed.

-Hayes's pov-
"Breakfast is ready!" I hear my mom call as I'm in my room. I walk downstairs starving and ready to eat. As we're sitting at the table eating she says someone made an offer on the house across the street. "It's not official if anyone's moving in yet, but the family that made the offer is from Ohio. We might have some new neighbors!" All I can think when I hear new neighbors is a cute girl. "Do you know how old the kids are." I ask my mom. "No, all I heard is they might move in." Nash nudges me with his elbow, he knows I was actually asking if there was a girl my age moving in. When breakfast is over we all go back to doing what we were doing before.

-Gabby's pov-
When I finish at the gym I go over to Bella's house. "Hey! I missed you we haven't hangout in like 4 days!" Bella says as I walk in the door. "Yeah I know.. If you think 4 days is long just wait until I tell you the news." She looks at me confused, "what is it?" She seems worried after what I just said, I can tell she's hoping it's "I'm going on a vacation for a week!" Or "I'm going to visit my great grandma in Florida for 2 weeks!" Not "I'm moving to North Carolina and will only see you 3 times a year, if that." I tell her how I'm moving and she breaks into tears. I've only known her for about a year but we've gotten so close in that time. She was my only friend when I moved here. After us both crying for 5 minutes we decide we're going to hangout everyday until I move. We go up to her room and gossip like usual, trying not to think about the move. At around 9 my dad came to pick me up. When I got home I took a shower and went to bed.

The next few days I spent either packing or hanging out with Bella. We went to the movies, roller skating, the fair, and swimming trying to spend as much time together as possible. But then the day came, moving day..
