Every story has a hero and I'm the hero of this one.
Yes, me, the mirror. You can say I'm enchanted. After all, I show the one standing before me what they truly desire. But there's a catch: I show the 'noblest' thing they desire.
There are usually two things that a person desires simultaneously- one noble and the other a representation of their base wishes. I don't reflect the latter. In a way, I strive to make the world a better place.
Take the person standing before me. She could go either way. Meticulous, organised, has zeal and drive. I show her an illusion of the future her receiving the badge of honour for her years on the police force. She turns away, satisfied.
I've saved the world again, this time, from a serial killer.
