On the cover you can actually see a seawing (likely Turtle from the looks of it) swimming in the pool in Jade mountain. The Seawing blends in so well many people may not have noticed them on the cover.

People may not have noticed because of another reason though. Such as being mostly covered by the bar code or being cut off by the edge of the book.

On the far left there are crabs. Which is interesting given that they are in a cave on a mountain far from any beach. Though it possibly means the underground pool connects to the ocean somewhere like the stream in the Dragonets of Destiny cave did.
