"Time to get out."
I rubbed my eyes and groaned in the sight of the bright light flying in from the outside world. But it was time for me to return to that hell hole of a prison. Dynam escorted me out of the security center and into the normal, prison living, damp, dark, cell blocks. With Dynam walking beside me, it gave off the impression to most that I was not to messed with. I was now owned, property of, and hired by the security force of ECO SEC Prison and it felt great. It felt great being in control. And I was going to do a lot of changes with it.
Dynam walked me to the cafeteria and sat me down at one of the tables and made me sign some paper work. Simple things, just rules and can's and cannot's. I signed my name under a few spaces and I made sure to read the fine print as well.
"So, what is this for? What am I supposed to do?" I asked him, given the fact that I honestly had no idea what my duties were to be.
"Just to enforce basically. Make sure no prisoner breaks the rules, aka stealing, fighting, excessive violence. You'll know when to intervene, trust me." He sat up from his seat and shook my hand before almost leaving. Then I asked another question.
"I wouldn't have killed the other guy if I didn't have to. He was taking advantage of 304 and he threatened me. I saw no choice."
"We know. We know everything. And just to make sure you don't do the same, we'll be keeping close eyes on you. Good luck." Dynam stepped away and walked back through the gates to the security center without even a wave goodbye. I sat in the cafeteria for most of the day, I had not much to do until 304 got out of the medical center and was fully healed. Once that happens, it was time to work the kid and get him training. I can't have a small weakling be my number two.
At the lunch table I sat until the announcement went off that we had a number of minutes to get back to our cells, so I made my way down to mine and locked myself in. I sat on the creaky stained bed and looked at the walls. There was carvings into them obviously counting the days until they got out, at the end of the wall, it appeared as if they were writing down one more day right in the middle of being killed. There was blood sprayed against the wall and just the thought of the possibility being that that could be me one day. It scares me.
Before I knew it I passed out onto the bed but was woke up by the alarm in the morning. Breakfast time. I had to get to my station pronto. I unlocked the door and went to run out upon bumping into two tough twins. 304 told me about these two. The Benjamin Bro's. The two twins were very creepily absurd. Like 304 said, they were twisted with a sense of humor. By the looks of it, they took some forks from the cafeteria and decided to cut each other's hair and eyebrows off. To appear scary, and yes they did, they took the same forks and carved their teeth into sharp edges for biting. Apparently they were known for their vampire like killings.
They blocked the exit to my cell and backed me into it, walking slowly towards me and cornering me. I could've brushed past them but I wanted to hear what they had to say. These weren't like others prisoners I could mess with. These two were pros at killing, I had to be very careful. The twins cracked their necks and knuckled and one began to speak to me.
"Before you came, we were scariest people here. Now you come, and you mess everything up. Now Dynam and Reckt look to you for solutions, but what will they think of you when you don't show up for cell block duty?"
The one talking grabbed me by my shirt and slammed me against the wall. He ran his fork across my face and held me down while the other dug through my pockets and grabbed onto my key. I was thrown to the side with the fork as well and before I pulled myself up, they had locked me in from the outside. I slammed against the door and screamed at the both of them. However, screaming was useless when one of them swallowed the key, and then they both walked off. I didn't bother yelling because no one from the outside could help me. The door was locked and almost indestructible so there was no use for even trying to break it off or open for that matter.
I stumbled around the room for a couple of minutes scratching my head and almost ripping my hair out. I picked at my lip and hopped around looking for any scenario that could play out good. I played the conversation over and over and how it would go down with Dynam. Maybe he would understand. It would show that I am not brute material like the Benjamin Bros. I sat down onto the ground and held onto my legs when something stabbed me. I looked down and discovered the fork on the ground. I quickly snatched it from the ground and stuck it into the key hole. I turned it and twisted it upside down and to both sides. Useless. I ran to my bed and threw the mattress to the side. On beds, they have the wiring inside that holds up the mattress, I used the fork to cut part of the wiring off. I then wrapped the wiring over and over and stuck it into the door. Within a few turns, I heard a click and the door shot open. I kept the wire in my pocket just in case I ever needed it again and made my way down to the cafeteria where I suspected the twins would be causing trouble.
