"What is it?" Rishabh asks him as he followed him to the pool area.

"Is everything, alright?"

"As in?"

"With you and Madhu."

Rishabh was about to evade the topic then decided against it. "I don't know."

"RK, I know this was all so sudden... but it was your decision to marry Madhu."

"I know, Shivaay... but..."

"What is the issue? She is busy with her studies, and that is the reason she doesn't spend time with the family. We know that... but with you also?"

"She is very focused and hard working." Rishabh agrees.

"Does she ignore you?"

"It's not that, Shivaay." Rishabh tells him agitated. "She is so..." Rishabh stops before saying weird. He didn't want to call his wife a weirdo in front of his brother.

"What?"

"I don't understand her." Rishabh tells him helplessly.

"You don't understand her?" Shivaay asks confused.

"It feels like she is in an altogether different league."

Shivaay smiles, "RK, you are newly married. You guys are talking to each other only now. It would take a while for you both to understand each other. For that you need to spend time and talk to each other."

Rishabh sighs defeated unable to explain to Shivaay why he felt Madhu and he were so different.

"I've an idea." Shivaay tells him excitedly.

"Go away?" Madhu asks shocked.

"Shivaay was saying it would be a good idea if we went on a trip, where it is just the two of us."

"But I've to work on my thesis."

"You can do that there also."

"If I am going to be working, then why go away?"

"Madhu..."

"What?"

"I know you've your studies, but we need to work on our marriage too."

"But I might have to see my professor."

"We've a chopper, Madhu. It is not an issue."

"You really want to go?"

"Yes."

"Where are we going?"

Rishabh couldn't help smiling hearing her question. She was willing to go for him, and that meant he did matter to her.

"How about Kolkatta?"

"Kolkatta?" Madhu asks as her interest pricked.

"I've a house there."

"House?" Madhu asks surprised.

"Yeah... I wanted to paint Durga puja... so, I had stayed there for a while."

"So, you bought a house?"

"I got attached to the house." Rishabh tells her shrugging.

"Okay." Madhu tells him smiling. "I always wanted to get on the tram there."

Rishabh grins hearing that. "We'll take the tram."

**********

Two days later, Rishabh and Madhu walk into his house in Kolkatta. It was a modest small house. With not many furniture or decoration. It just had two bedrooms with a living room and a very small kitchen.
