Jughead's POV: Betty Cooper, a perfect girl on the outside but broken within. She was always the it girl at Riverdale. Riverdale high was her kingdom but she was the kind of girl that had so much control but always came of so innocent and sweet. Little did anyone know what happened behind close doors. I never knew until I got to meet the real Betty Cooper, the one I fell for but this is her story, not really mine.
**first day back at school
Betty: Hey V, Cher, and Toni!
Cheryl: BETTY!!!!! *hugs her* Oh my god I missed you so much
Betty: me too
Veronica: where did y'all go this summer?
Betty*smiles* the Bahamas, it was so nice
Toni: I've heard it great, I mean getting out of Riverdale is already awesome *laughs*
Betty: yeah your right
Cheryl: So cheer again this year?
Betty: always, I also may do newspaper
Toni: but doesn't that kid, Jughead Jones do it
Betty: well yeah
Cheryl: Do you really wanna deal with that?
Betty: I'm sure he's nice
Veronica: no he's a loner
*bell rings*
Veronica: gotta run *walks off*
Cheryl: she's not wrong Betty
Toni: yep *grabs Cheryl's hand and they walk off*
Betty*looks at the newspaper office* I'm gonna do it *walks towards it*
**near the newspaper office
Jughead*runs into betty and looks up*
Betty: oh goodness
Jughead: oh god I'm so sorry
Betty: it's fine *picks up his stuff* Here you go
Jughead: thanks, what are you doing not in class?
Betty: I came to sign up for the newspaper
Jughead: you wanna write for the blue and gold?
Betty: yep!
Jughead: well I'm assuming you write, could I see your stuff?
Betty: yeah I don't have anything right now but come by later *starts to walk off*
Jughead: wait come by?
Betty: yeah, umm here's my number *scribbles on a sticky note* text me when your ready to come over and I can show you some stuff. Sound good?
Jughead: sure
Betty: awesome, see you later Jughead
Jughead: Bye Betty
