Date Gone Wrong

" Oh come on Derek you know what I want. Come on let's go over to my house my parents aren't home." I shook my head and walked to my car and got in. I started the engine and flicked her off before I drove off.

On the way home I got a call from my dad.

" We need you tonight." He said once I picked up my phone.

" I can't I have a date tonight." I told him.

" So you finally settled down. I want to meet this special girl. So what's her name?" I smiled at him knowing that he would be excited.

" Her name is Courtney and she is very special but I still can't go tonight dad. I'm taking her on our first date please.?" I begged him as I got home.

" Sorry son but we need you tonight just tell her to meet you at the restaurant and we will get you back before your date." I hesitated but said yes to my dad. I got home and got dressed for my date.

Once I knew I was ready I headed over to where my dad works. And yes he is a drug dealer but he doesn't like killing people so he never gets caught. Once I got to his headquarters I knew I was going to be here longer than expected.

Hey do you want to meet up at the restaurant instead  of me picking you up?

She texted back almost immediately.

Yea sure that's fine see you tonight.
-Courtney

I walked in after I texted Courtney and saw my dad talking to a group of big bulky guys. I walked up to him and waited for him to notice me.

Once he did he excused himself from the group and walked to me. He gave me a hug and let go of me with his serious face on.

" So I need you to do a sale tonight." He told me. Yes my dad is a drug dealer and the only reason why he ever calls me is because he wants me to make a sale for him.

" Ok but I will be back before 7 right cause I need to meet my date at the restaurant that I told her at 7." He shrugged and nodded.

" You should make it back before then just make it fast." I nodded and watched as he walked away. I was scared that I wouldn't make to our date.

I got in my car and drove to the spot that I was told to meet the dealer at. Once I got there it was 6:45 and I knew that I would be late to our date.

I got out of my car and walked up to the guy.

" You got the stuff cause I have places to be." I told him.

" Yea I got the stuff. Do you have the money is the real question." I nodded and took it out and put it in his hand. When he had it he counted it and looked at me. I stuck my hand out so I could have the stuff.

The next thing I know I'm getting punched in the jaw by the dealer. I tried punching him back but I missed and he kicked me in the stomach knocking me to the ground.  A bunch of his buddy's  then came and started to beat my up.

Once I knew I could get up without to much pain I walked to my car. When I started the engine I looked in the mirror and saw I had  busted lip and a bruise on my right cheek.

"Shit." I said to myself when I started to drive to the restaurant knowing that I was late. When I got there I looked at the clock and saw it was 7:45.

" Please still be here. Please still be here." I chanted in my head.

I walked in and looked at the hostess.

" Hi I was wondering if my date is still here?" I asked her. She looked at me with anger in her eyes.

" Do you think she is still here. I just watched her leave like 15 minutes ago so what do you think?" I looked at her with sadness.

I got angry and started to flip tables.

" Why is it always me?" I screamed and ran out of the restaurant.

I ran to my car and started it and hit the gas and drove to Courtney' s house.

" Please be awake Courtney." When I got to her house I walked to the side of her house where her window was.

When I walked to her window her room was dark. I started to throw rocks but nothing happened. I figured she was mad at me for standing up but I knew I was going to let her know who my family was.

With that I walked away and got into my car. Driving home I was thinking of ways to make Courtney forgive me. Knowing I would have to wait till Monday to see her again.

" I'm sorry Courtney."

Hey guys I know it has been a long time since I updated but I did but now my life is super busy with my school's musical and how I am in a bunch of music groups and with school I might have to take longer to get my updates up.
