The Piggy Ride

Finally Summers had ended...
So did the summer holidays...
And now it was the time to go school.  But I was too lazy to get up from the bed. The gravitational force of bed was so intense that I couldn't get up and I had no strength to resist the cozy and comfy bed. So I decided to skip the first day of school. Although it was the first day and the first year in high school.

"Serene!  Serene!  Wake up! "  shouted my mom from downstairs  "Ashton is here"

Till I could react, he had came to my room without even knocking. Anyways, he never knocked.
"Ashton!!! Why don't you freakinn knock the door before you come in!! " I said as I screamed on Ashton.
Ashton smirked as a reply.
"Come on now, get ready for the school " said Ashton.
Ashton knew how lazy I was at the first day of the school. And how couldn't he know, at all he was my best friend. 
Ashton lived next to me, as his parents and my parents were best friends and they had decided to buy a house nearby each others houses.
Ashton was taller than me having  sharp features, having dark hairs  which perfectly matched to his stormy grey eyes. I always wondered if I had grey eyes and dark hairs like him but unfortunately I got Amber eyes and light brown hair shade, but I guess it wasn't that worse.

I took shower and got ready for the school. I wore a black plain T-shirt and a skin tight pants and tied a ponytail . I looked plain, but that's what I liked. And now I was ready to go school. I went outside and there's where Ashton was waiting.

" Hey idiot " I said coming towards him.
Ashton looked back over the shoulder to see me.
"you look gorgeous " Ashton said with a huge cherish smile when he looked at me.
It was kinda awkward situation. I was looking ordinary and there wasn't anything that was worth complimenting. Also Ashton had never complimented on my looks, he just used to make fun of me just to tease,just to see my irritated face. But deep down, he cared a lot for me. I don't know what was it  coming from.
"umm.... Thanks! " I managed to say awkwardly.
"you idiot! I was planning of bunking the school today but only because of you I am here, going to school " I said sarcastically "And I am too lazy to walk for school " I added

"Whatever" He said before he lifted me on his back.
"Ashton!!!  Leave me!! Put me down!! What are you doing!? "  I said as I shouted at Ashton with the boiling anger inside me.
"Just giving you a piggy ride to the school, nothing else" He replied smiling and at ease.
"By the way, have you gained some weight or what? " He said sarcastically and laughing loudly as I got irritated.
"Shut up!" I said loaded with full anger.
"Just kidding! I just wanted to see you getting irritated " He said laughing really hard.

Finally we were school now. Ashton had given me piggy ride the whole way to school. I thought he would be kidding, but he was serious about it. The news that Ashton gave me piggy ride the whole way to school had spread like fire. But none of us cared. People usually thought we were dating, but we weren't. I  was having a boyfriend whom I am dating since past 6 months,and his name was Lucas. Lucas was a champion swimmer of our school. He was the most popular and hot guy of the school. Girls were crazy after him. Who couldn't be crazy after him?  Who could dislike that hot and muscular body having abs, and those luminous light brown eyes , dark hairs and a set of dimples. No girl had strength to resist it.

But the fact we can't unseen is both Ashton and Lucas both hated each other, Maybe the reason was me. And here comes an another trouble, I can say it with guarantee that both of them are gonna fight on the matter of piggy ride thing.

Ahhh! Now only God can save me from this trouble!
