One sided love is a lonely thing. You give and give and give but never receive. Alas our ocean is something very familiar with this concept. It provides food, shelter, and protection for many things but it never receives. But it must keep giving out of love.

Then one day a girl happens along. She is cold, hungry, and scared. The ocean, out of love, gave to her and she reciprocated. This relationship went on for quite some time, and both were happy.

But the thing is with humans is you'll always want most what you can't have.

She grew into an independent woman with the loving care of the sea. And soon she was as wild and loving as the ocean itself.

And a great many wanted her.

She could not speak, never having needed to, but her beauty was beyond compare. Many a man happened by, but one captivated her heart.

This man sat with her, talked to her, and the girl felt something she thought she already had. Love.

Though her lips remained sealed she turned back to her guardian, wild eyes shining, and made her silent plea to freedom. And because it loved her, the ocean gave once more.

Then it raged. Oh humanity the treacherous race. The liars, the dependers, and all they could do was take. Take and take and never give. The ocean forgot it's love and the world suffered for it. For we don't understand how dangerous the ocean can be when it's unhappy.

Then one day a woman, badly injured, wanders to a nearby beach. Running through her veins is salt and she was as wild as the sea itself. She suffers a fatal injury at the hands of a man she thought she loved. But she was wrong.

She died that day, all on her own. Or so most people would say. The ocean was with her when she died. And once more, no matter how mournfully it gave one more time. It sheltered her body, cleansed it, and hid it away. And it has still not been found to this day.
