Rachel awoke with a pounding head and an urge to throw up, she ran into her private bathroom and did just that. Her head stayed in the toilet for countless minutes until she finally got the energy to stand up and brush her teeth. She threw on her fluffy robe and went into the kitchen to make herself a coffee. She smiled at Sam who was sat at the table reading a paper with a mug already in hand.

"Morning sunshine" he laughed at her tired expression and Rachel grunted before grabbing a mug and sitting facing him.

"What time is it?" Rachel asked with a yawn, and nearly spat her coffee out to learn that it was already 1 in the afternoon. Rachel was a party girl, but her job required early starts so she was always up before everyone else. Luckily, today she didn't have to work and she was pretty happy that she'd taken advantage of that.

"So, are you making me breakfast?" Sam asked with a devilish grin and Rachel couldn't help but smile. Sam had always loved her cooking and would never pass on the opportunity to have Rachel cook for him.

"What do you want?" Rachel asked with a sigh and giggled at sam's triumphant expression. When he answered, Rachel didn't know why she bothered asking in the first place and started to make sam's favourite giant fluffy pancakes with chocolate chips and bacon. Sam spoke to her as she cooked and Rachel made sure to cater for the other people in the house who were yet to wake up. Shortly after, puck and Santana entered, both wearing satisfied expressions which made Rachel quite uncomfortable.

They sat down and enjoyed the breakfast, which obviously mostly consisted of comments passed between Sam and Santana whilst Rachel and puck watched amused. Rachel quickly cleaned up and went to her room to get ready. After a quick shower where she washed her hair, she put her hair into a flattering ponytail, a pair of ripped jeans and a fitted grey hoodie. The 4 of them watched tv for a while until Rachel got an idea and sent a message to Quinn fabray.

Hey Quinn, I had a really great time last night you need to come out more often! Anyway, I saw how you and my friend Sam were looking at each other and was wondering how you would feel if I set you guys up on a date -Rachel

Hey rach, I had fun too and I don't know! He knows about Beth so I'm not worried about that but I haven't dated since Jesse -Quinn

Which is exactly why you need to go out with Sam! Please Quinn for me -Rachel

Ugh fine, only for you rach -Quinn

You keep telling yourself that quinnie. I'll give him your number and you guys can arrange it. Remember to name your first child after me -Rachel

Rachel smiled and told Sam that he and Quinn would be going on a date, he seemed very happy and gladly accepted her number from Rachel who was delighted to hear that they'd arranged to go out tomorrow night and that she would get to babysit little Beth.

Rachel glanced at the clock and saw that it was 2pm, yesterday she hadn't managed to go into one of the stores that she had wanted to and their sales would end today at 4 when all the other stores close. She excuses herself and quickly shoved her sneakers on, grabbed a purse and coat and ran to Victoria's Secret.

The shop was a guilty pleasure of Rachel's, she loved buying all of the garments even though the only person who had ever had the pleasure of seeing them was Sam she still liked to visit and would often spend more then she should on the newest items as well as on the body mists and glosses. She was stood with a basket in hand that was almost full as she was rooting through a pile of Lacy bras trying to find her size. She was interrupted by a tap on the shoulder by the most gorgeous man she'd ever seen, he looked very familiar but she couldn't even think about that right now as this god was staring into her eyes with a smirk on his face. He was wearing a dark grey suit that showed off his body perfectly and Rachel licked her suddenly dry lips.

"I need some help" he finally says and she smiles at him politely, obviously this guy wasn't single and needed help buying something for his significant other and Rachel couldn't help but feel a twang of jealousy.

"For your girlfriend?" She asked and he shook his head.

"My ex girlfriend has been kind of stalking me so I ran in here to avoid her but she followed, so I need you to make out with me until she leaves" he says simply and she's astonished at his confidence, but there is no way in hell she would turn down the opportunity to kiss him.

"Well then I'll be happy to help" she answers with a smirk that is immediately returned by him.

Feeling a new wave of confidence, she stepped forward and handed him her bag of items. He looked inside with a playful grin before holding the bag, making them look more and more like a couple. She leaned in slowly and so did he and the moment their lips touched they could both feel sparks. They immediately deepened the kiss, exploring each other's mouths as they did so and all they could see was fireworks.

When they had to pull away for air, she bit her lip as they made eye contact. The pair looked ravaged, and in their opinions it made the other look even better. They both leaned in again, not caring who saw and even if his strange ex girlfriend was there anymore. He cupped her face gently as she ran her hands through his hair. When they had to pull away again, she whimpered quietly at the loss of his tongue and he rested his forehead against hers.

"She's gone" he says between pants and she smiled shyly. "Thank you" he says as he pulls away, finally having got his breath back.

"My pleasure" she said as she bit her lip.

"No seriously, how am I ever going to repay you" he smirks and she shakes her head politely.

"Honestly, it's okay" she assured him but then he looked down at the bag of items in his hands and smiled and walked away with it.

"No, no, no there's like $200 worth of things in there you couldn't possibly" she protested as she tried to get her things but he was stubborn and that kind of turned her on.

"I insist" he says with a playful glimmer in his eyes. "It's the least I can do" he shrugs as he reaches the till and pulls his wallet out, the cashier looks impressed and turns to Rachel.

"You've got yourself a keeper here" she smiles as Rachel turns red and the handsome stranger smirks.

"She has hasn't she" he grins playfully earning a friendly shove from Rachel. Once he paid, he handed Rachel the bag and they left the store together.

"I'll see you around" he grins before turning on his heel and walking down the busy sidewalk, leaving an astonished Rachel in the middle of the street. 'What the hell just happened?' She thought to herself, and mentally kicked herself as she realised that she hadn't got his name, let alone his number. She'd been so dazed that asking him about anything had just slipped her mind. It took her a while to sort herself out before she headed to her apartment, her thoughts filled with the handsome stranger.

As soon as she stepped inside, her ravaged expression didn't go unnoticed by the others and they pressed her for questions. She reluctantly told them about him, not being able to keep a huge smile from her face.

"So did you get his number?" Santana asked excitedly and Rachel sighed and shook her head.

"No" she said with a huff, "I was just doing him a favour, I know nothing about him except that he's the most gorgeous man I've ever seen and the best damn kiss I've ever had" she says, a small smile appearing as she recalls their time together. "No offence Sam" she giggled, he acted hurt but it soon turned to a laugh. He was happy to see Rachel happy and that's all that mattered to him.

"So what now?" He asks and she shrugged.

"I don't know, I mean nothing I guess" she replied, trying to act like she didn't have a care in the world but failing miserably.
