They walked into Endeavor, entering him. They find that despite the fire, his soul was pitch black. As they strode across the black grass underneath the grey sky, they saw a child all alone. He was crying underneath a tree. His hair dark red, and eyebrows slanted. "Everyone thinks I'm angry all the time! ...it hurts. No one comes near me, no one talks to me... I'll show them! I'll be the best! I'll help people, I'll be kind to the outcasts... Like me. I'll... I'll make sure no one feels this way ever again!" They saw the child grow before them into a teenager. The environment has changed; they're now inside... Or so it seems. It's still shrouded in black, aside from a single ray of light revealing the teen sitting at a table, all by himself. Alone again. He's slouched over a tray of what is probably food, but can't be made out. "Even at this new school, I'm outcast again." He grumbles. "Maybe it's for the better. I'd ruin anyone's reputation if they tried to befriend me." He paused as he looked down. His face changed from sorrow to determination, as he closed his fists. "I don't need them. If they can't accept me, then they're not worth it! I'll be the best person I can, and I'll find what I need then!" He proclaimed. Once more, the scenery shifted. He's watching over the city from a window high in the air. The city is clean and safe. There are monitors in the room showing the incredible state of the city, but still the room is empty, but for one soul. The setting sun casts a silhouette of the man upon the floor. "I've done all I can. I've made this city a haven. I don't know what else I can do. I've dedicated my life to making this city happy... But I'm..." He trailed off. The two Todoroki siblings step beside the man in order to glance upon his face. What they find themselves looking at is the face of their father. A tear rolls down his cheek, glistening as the harsh light falls into the room. Here, in his office on top of the world, Endeavor is still alone.
