I wake up again, but this time with hope. I get up by myself and expect people to be happy for me, but they aren't. In fact, they're all scowling at me, except Kate and Ace. I walk over cautiously. "Why are they so...annoyed?" Kate sighs. "They're angry because you escaped your first trial. They think Frank let you off easy." I'm confused. "If anything, he wanted to get me the most! He just barely touched my hair as I ran out into the Fog." I sigh. If they don't like me, won't it be hard to escape and work as a team? I kinda want to be alone, so I tell them I'm going to my cabin to relax a bit. I smile and wave as I walk away. When I get to my cabin, I grab the key from under the bench and unlock the door. "Man, I'm really gonna have to find a way to decorate" I say quietly to myself. Walking upstairs to my room, I hum some tune stuck in my head. I look out the window in the back, and see the river. It's really pretty. I should go check it out. And with that, I grab my backpack, remembering I have my camera in it and set out towards the river.

When I get to the river, the first thing I notice is how clear the water is. I look down into it, but to my surprise, there's not a single sign of life. I walk downstream a little and notice a bridge. I jog up to it and see cabins on the other side, not too far away. The bridge is beautiful, there's little carvings all over it. It seems sturdy, so I walk across. I begin to get a feeling like I'm being watched, but I shake it off as nothing. I mean, who could possibly be watching me out here? I sit my backpack against the bridge and plop down on the side of the river, taking in the beauty of nature around me. I'm caught up in everything around me for a while, the smell of the trees, the damp ground, and the sound of the rushing water beneath me.

The feeling of being watched grows, so I stand up and look around. "Hello?" I call out. "Is someone there?". I hear the trees rustle to my left but when I turn, there's nothing there. As soon as I turn back around, I hear heavy breathing and the steps of someone rushing towards me. I try to run but I trip slightly, causing him to catch up to me. I hear a knife whip past the back of my head, I turn around to see none other than Frank, and before I can think he drives the knife into my forearm, and I scream in agony. I manage to push him off of me but in the process, fling myself forward. Scrambling to get up, he beats me to it and pushes the knife into my ankle, probably the whole way through. At this point I know I can't run so I just try to brace for the rest, still fighting while I can. He gets on top of me and says in a low, chilling voice "You think you can just come here and make a fool out of me? I basically ran this place before you showed up. Now I'm not taken seriously because YOU screwed me over." he stabs the knife into my arm once more, and I'm still fighting and crying against him. He lifts the knife up with both hands, above his head, before I hear footsteps. Frank must hear them too, because he looks over in the direction and I see a hooded figure dive over and knock him down. I'm still laying there, silently crying, but watching. I notice my light jeans are slowly soaking up blood from where Frank had stabbed me. When the figure turns towards me, I'm surprised to see the iconic mask of Ghostface looking back at me. He's got Frank down and he's all up in his face. I feel myself slowly losing consciousness from hitting the ground so hard.

I'm fading in and out of a light sleep, and by what I can tell, Frank is walking away and the masked man is walking towards me. I quickly try to sit up and get away, but he stops me. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, it's gonna hurt you even more." I remember how Frank attacked me. My entire body hurts from fighting and my throat is sore from crying and screaming. My ankle hurts the worst, I don't even want to know what it looks like. He walks towards my backpack and picks it up. "You want this?" I nod my head, unsure of what to do. He slides my bag onto his shoulder and picks me up bridal style. Where is he taking me? Is he gonna put me on a hook? What if I die out of trial? As if to read my mind, he looks down at me. "I'm not gonna take you to no hook, babe. Even if I wanted to, there's none out of trial. I'm taking you to where I live until you can get better. I'll patch you up when we get there, so you can rest and not worry your little head about a thing." I might have been comforted by his words if he wasn't a killer. But, this seemed to be my only option, so i'm gonna go with it. I feel myself slipping into a sleep again, so without thinking, I hum an "Mmk. Thank you, goodnight" he chuckles at this and whispers back "Yeah. Goodnight."
