I sat in my desk chair spinning around softly as I questioned what I would do this lovely Friday evening knowing that I was stuck on campus this weekend because of practice. All my classes were over for the day, and I had already finished all of my homework and assignments that I had due so what was there left to do?

I groaned remembering that I needed to read the contract under the bed, but I really didn't want to. I knew I wouldn't even understand what I was reading anyway. "What to do what to do?" I asked sitting it on the desk and looking down at it. I mean I could try to go through and read it or I could get someone else to read it for me. Work smarter not harder.

"Alright rookie what was the emergency," Avery spoke walking into the room sitting her purse on my desk before plopping down in the extra chair in my room. "Alright before I tell you anything you have to promise Avery that you won't tell anyone," I spoke seriously as I turned to face her knowing that obviously I wasn't supposed to tell anyone but she was here studying to become a lawyer. Why not give her some extra practice? "Yeah yeah I promise," She spoke making me stare her down until she realized how serious I was. "Okay I promise, I Avery Jessica Carter, won't discuss whatever information Y/N Y/L/N confides with me," Avery finally spoke causing me to nod my leading letting out a deep breath. "So, my reckless tweeting kind of caught back up to me," I spoke pushing the contract out towards her. "Kinda?" Avery spoke picking up the contract and grabbing a highlighter and pen off my desk before plopping back down in her seat. "I figured since you were study law and whatnot that you could help me understand what that meant?" I questioned turning to face her only to get shushed in return.

An hour later I was laid on the floor throwing the ball into the air and catching it as I waited on Avery. "Okay I'm finished come here," She finally spoke to me. I groaned lightly getting up off the ground and stretching before going and squatting next to her as she showed me the contact where she had highlighted and left little sticky notes on it.

"When I read through it the first time, I was just trying to figure out what you did," Avery spoke causing me to huff before she continued. "Well long story short it's mostly a publicist stunt. Tells you what and what not to do, how to handle certain situations, it gives you an allowance and an overall amount of what you'll get at the end. It tells how long it's going to last, some of the benefits you receive while doing this, and things you can get sued for, etc." Avery spoke turning the pages and pointing out where everything was. "And how long does it say this will last?"

I watched Avery bit her lip softly looking over at me, "Four almost five years." I looked over at her shaking my head. No, no there was no way that it could last that long. "Are you sure it says that long?" I asked looking down at the contract as Avery flipped the page pointing me directly to the line. "Yeah it lasts a long time but at least you get paid for it. A million for every year you do this," Avery spoke causing my eyebrows to shoot up. "What?"

I watched as she flipped a couple more pages," Yeah down here." I read over the highlighted part before groaning. "What's the problem, with that kind of money you can pay your student loans, and pay for medical school after this," I simply shrugged.

"That's four to five years of my life, I could be in a serious relationship or on the verge of getting married," I spoke looking over at Avery. "You are going to be in a serious relationship and get married. It's just going to be one you get paid in," Avery spoke causing me to groan. "Come on you know you're going to have to sign a prenup especially if this person makes a shit ton of money," Avery spoke rubbing my shoulders. "So, can you tell me what devil you're signing a deal with?"

"Ariana Grande," I spoke pulling my phone out texting Scooter letting him know I was ready to sign. The sooner we start the sooner we can end it all.
