*Beep!* *Beep!* Kai awoke to the annoying sound of their alarm, going off. They groaned, standing up and drowsily flicking off the alarm, before looking at the country themed calander hung upon their wall. "OH!!" They exclaimed, seeing it was june 17th, the day their girlfriend and themself were to meet up. They immediately got dressed, wearing black leggings with a rainbow skirt over it a Rainbow crop top cropped at the shoulders , and a Black-Blue flannel tied around the waist.
They headed downstairs, grabbing their bag that they had prepared the night before, and slipping on their black combat boots. They then rushed into the kitchen, grabbing an apple on the way to the door and taking a bite from it. They grabbed their keys, locking the door and getting into their deep blue colored car. "Alright, lets get some tunes going" They said, turning on a dubstep playlist they listened to often.
They quickly sent a message, telling their love they were on the way, before backing up, and driving off. After driving for about 20 minutes, Kai stopped in a rock driveway, getting out with their bag. There she stood, going up to Kai to greet them. "Oh, you're here! I'm glad i wasn't too late, Kitty" She said, smiling warmly
"You're never late in my mind, Love" Kai commented back, Embracing the kind girl they called their love.
"Shall we head off then?" Kai said, letting go after a bit. Rose nodded, showing them the trail with a smile "This'll be nice, I love nature." "I do too, its so enchanting, isn't it? Almost magical." Rose nodded, holding onto Kai's hand as they walked onto the trail. Every now and then, Kai would point out a pretty flower, getting a smile or comment from Rose on that case.
Kai stopped after a bit, looking ahead "..What the hell is that..?" They said, pointing twoards what looked to be a hole in the air itself "...I'm, I'm not sure..." Rose responded, her voice trailing off as she spoke. "I'll go look." Kai said, walking towards the strange 'hole'. Just then, an arm reached out from the hole, gripping onto Kai's, and tugging them in with a suprised screech of terror. Before Rose could even have time to think, she sensed something behind her, and felt it grip her arm, tugging her in from behind.
