Hope Mikaelson has a twin, Kara, but they were not equal. Sure they were sisters, but Hope was clearly the favourite. So after her father threatens her life, Kara decides it's the last straw and gets out, ending up in Beacon Hills.
I saw Kara scream as she was pushed back by the black magic's energy. Oh my god, I can't believe I just did that to her. I thought she was just tricking me. Her hair started to turn black. Then everything stopped and the darkness went inside of her. She sat up rubbing her eyes, when she opened them, they were black. She looked up at me with her fully black eyes and giggled. "Look what you did hope!" She said, changing her laugh to a serious face. Her eyes flickered from black to normal. "Yo-u d-id-thi-s to-m-e ho-pe!" She said, only speaking when her eyes were like they normally where. Then they just went red.

"Oh well, your loss. Guess it just made me stronger!" She smirked and stood, her eyes still red. I backed away. She turned to my aunts. "You can go now...You two redeemed yourselves." She shooed them out and they looked terrified so they walked out.
"What's got them so scared?" She laughed. I just looked around. She just smiled. "You look scared too? Afraid of little old me hope?" "I'm not afraid I'm just sorry that I did this to you." "Well then stop feeling sorry, I'm much more powerful and honestly that's all I care about. Speaking of which.." she snapped of a piece of wood and threw it at me with magic. "STOP!!!"
Dark Kara's POV
"STOP!" My mom yelled. I stopped it mile meters from Hope's heart, mildly curious. "And why shouldn't I?" I asked grabbing the stake and inching it into her body, barely scraping her heart. "You said you want to be powerful? Killing hope will make her a fully activated tribrid, more powerful than you!" She said panicking. "Good point..That gives me an idea!" I smirked and pulled the stake out of Hope. "See you on the other side..." I saluted in a sarcastic way and jabbed the stake into my heart. "NOO!!" They all screamed, everything went black.
Hayley's POV
"NOO!!" I screamed. Me and hope ran to her weeping. "HELPP!" Hope yelled. Rebekah and Freya walked in and their faces dropped when they saw Kara with a stake in her heart. They ran over to her. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!?" Rebekah screeched at me. "You think I did this?" I asked hurt. "She did this to herself.." hope stated, now broken into tears on the floor. "Why?" Freya said holding back her tears. Then she hesitated, "It was the darkness, wasn't it?" I nodded.
We waited for a few minutes before seeing her gasp for air. She laughed smugly and disappeared from the room. The next thing I knew, I heard screams coming from outside. We all turned to the door and ran outside to see Kara feeding on a ginger haired girl, she looked about thirty years old. She grinned wiping the blood from her face and dropping the body to the floor. "Delicious!"
