The world doesn't stop for the small moments. It doesn't even stop for the big, earth shattering ones. Some think Time is a thief, taking our breaths one by one and hoarding them away, but I think time is a gift, handing you each breath it has saved in preparation for you. I believe that if we dwell on the past or focus on the future we won't see the time that we have right now. If we don't see the time we have now then it is stolen from us, not by the passing of time but by ourselves. I believe the small joyful moments are rewards for being present in the time time we have, but the big joyful times are prizes for overcoming the earth shattering challenges. Time himself is not a thief, he is the provider of a gift that you have free choice over. We are the real time stealers, and our lack of want, our lack of need to experience time for what it is. For time isn't under our command and it doesn't follow our rules, we are commanded by Time, and his rules are the ones we follow.
