The moth stared at her for a few good seconds, her face reflecting in the creature's bug beady eyes.
"I don't get it..." He started making the vampire roll her eyes and sigh.
"Whatever..."
Eunice stood up from her spot on the grass, walking up to her best friend and the fluffy creature. "Clare, I think we need to go."
"Yeah." The other albino answered, ruffling the locks at the back of her head. "We have creatures to find."
"Well, I suppose it was nice meeting you." Eunice smiled up at the fluffy male who just stood there with the sword still awkwardly clenched in his grip.
"Uh...yeah..."
But as the male uttered out those last words the grass underneath them rustled threateningly and the moth man perked up with a shiver.
"What...was that??" He gulped, glancing around.
Eunice's eyebrows knitted as she peered around, Clare also looking through the scenery like an alerted predator.
"Eunice." The older looking woman called out to the other. She somehow looked even paler than usual. With a nervous pool on her face. "Did you feel the same thing I did?"
To the moth's surprise, both of the vampires grinned, their shiny teeth poking through the veil of purplish lips like the fangs of a snake. They also looked kind of...scared. A mixture of excitement and fear dancing in both pairs of their ruby eyes.
"I sure did," Eunice replied. "Do you still have it?"
Clare reached down and seemed to grip something situated deep in the right pocket of her skirt. "Yup."
The moth male looked around confused. "What? What's going on?"
"Don't even worry your fluffy face about it." The old looking female announced, ruffling the man's white fur. "There has been a slight change of plans. Before we will carry on doing what we were originally planning we want to have a quick fight."
"A-A fight?" The moth mumbled confusedly.
"With whom?"
Eunice cracked her knuckles, looking off into the distance where the strange wind came from. "Just an old friend."
The white-furred male looked confused as ever, staring blankly at the two females that were walking away from him in quick strides. Suddenly though a though floated back into his brain.
"H-Hey!" He called out to them, running after the two females. "About that shiny box! I still want to be in possession of it!"
Clare stopped in her tracks and turned around, quirking one of her eyebrows. "Oh. That's my phone. Of course, I'm not going to give it to you."
"Wha-" the male stammered and quickly ran up to the pale lady. "But- I need it! The light from it is brighter than anything I have witnessed. It's like the moons shine trapped in a container."
"Look I cannot give it to you. That thing costs a fortune and I bearly managed to get my hands on it-" Clare snarled pushing the moth male away as he tried to fish the device out of her pocket.
"I need it--" he squirmed before shoving his palms into one of the pockets and gripping something cold with his fingers, taking it out.
"Wait that's not-"
"...what" the fluffy creature stared down confused at the object. Instead of the slick black box he has seen before on his palm rested a small glass jar with what looked to be an eyeball placed inside. The iris of the organ had a bright golden color to it, the pupil a little faded out, further showing the old age of the object.
