We met again

Next morning, Sunrays entered in her room being filtered through crimson white curtain that hung on the window. Slowly she opened her eyes and found herself sleeping while keeping her head on the headrest. She trailed her palms through her face and then stepped down from the bed. After sometimes she returned in her white formal shirt and black jeans. She did her hair in a ponytail applied a stroke of Kajal in her eyes and a little lip balm on her lips. She took a batch kept on the left side of her dressing table and stared at it. Her fingers touched a name written in bold letters... "INSPECTOR PURVI MALHOTRA." She stared at her batch for sometimes.

'You are really exceptionally brave and you shouldn't waste it...'

She recalled this sentence said by her father's friend ACP Pradyumn. Some scenes of her Passing out ceremony flashed in front of her eyes. She stared at her own reflection. Just then someone entered in her room.

Purvi beta tayar ho gayi tum.... A lady in her mid 60s asked while shifting her pallu. Purvi looked at her

Haa maasi main... I'm just leaving.... She said and took her keys kept on her dressing and left the room that lady followed her to another room.

An old man was lying on the bed unconscious. Different tools were attached to him to show movement inside his body. Purvi checked through all the machineries and then sat on the stool near the bed. She held his right hand in her hands.

Papa... She uttered and her eyes got wet while she continued.... It's been two years since you've not talked to me. Please speak up.... Look today It's been one month since I joined CID everyone is so nice there just like a family but... Papa... I.. I miss you....

Radha maasi kept her hand on Purvi's shoulder. Purvi wiped her tears hurriedly and stood up at her place.

Maasi... I'll be late... If you need anything just call me.. I'm just one call away... Saying this she left.

Within half hour she was in the bureau working on her desktop. Purvi was quiet serious about her work she doesn't used to talk to anyone until there would have something related to their profession. Although member used to try hard to make her feel comfortable but all in vain.

Everyone was busy in their respective works when Pankaj came to Nikhil for some work. After Nikhil helped him through his file completion Pankaj tried to talk to Nikhil

Pankaj: Nikhil yrr... Look at Purvi don't you think she's too arrogant...

Nikhil: Hmmm... But let it be na... just focus on your work otherwise Abhijeet sir is going to kill you..

Pankaj got busy in his work after he got the dose from Nikhil.

Soon Acp entered in the bureau along with a guy dressed up in white shirt with a black blazer and black jeans. His personality was quiet impressive. He ran his eyes throughout the bureau and his gaze stucked at Purvi who was busy on her desktop. His lips automatically turned into a curve.

Kavin... Sachin exclaimed as he saw the person before Acp could introduce him to everyone. Purvi froze at her place as this name fell into her ears. Her mind stopped working neither she moved her finger along the keys of the desktop nor she looked up at the person. Kavin smiled at Sachin and both hugged each other. Everyone gathered around them

Acp: Sachin.. Do you know Kavin..?

Sachin: Of course sir.. We're college friends even we had completed our CID training together and after training he got his posting in Kolkata and I came here...

Acp smiled and looked at other's confused faces.

Acp: He's Sr. Inspector Kavin.. He has gotten transfer from Kolkata... He'll join us from today

One by one Acp introduced Kavin to everyone but all this while Kavin eyes were on Purvi who didn't move from her place.

Here, purvi was listening to their conversation now she didn't need to look at him for a confirmation that he was the same person whom she hates to the core of her heart.

Purvi come here... Purvi came in her senses as Acp called her name. She didn't want to go there at that instant she just wanted to run away somewhere. Where this Kavin couldn't find her. But she took her steps towards them without looking at him.

I think there is no use of introduction. You both know each other as you both have already worked together... even before Purvi had joined Cid.. Right Kavin...?. Acp said to Kavin while smiling and Kavin nodded in yes.

He forwarded his hands towards Purvi for a formal hand shake and she too shook her hands with him without even looking at him. She hated it as his hands touched hers. He too could feel her hatered for him. She left bureau as soon as he left her hand. Kavin stared at her retreating figure.

Abhijeet: It's ok Kavin.. She's not really comfortable with others maybe that's why...

Kavin nodded but said nothing. Soon all becamebusy in their respective works. Kavin was continuously staring towards entrancefor her but she didn't returned for next two hours.

Hey guys this is new part of Our love story... Hope you all will like it... Guys I need a suggestion should I continue it in english or switch to hindi.... As I myself like to read ff's in hindi  that's why I need your advice.
