unbeknownst to everyone, The prince was feeling so lonely without the certain maid. He finally realized that he likes her, and that's why he's feeling very weird every time he does horrible things to Y/n.

Three weeks have passed ever since the two died. The bodies were surprisingly not rotting at all.  

"Prince Vil, I see that you're out today" showing the usual smile, Rook caught Vil wearing commoner's robes but he didn't know where did the prince acquired it. "I thought you despised wearing horrible clothing"

The prince clicked his tongue in annoyance however, he didn't leave yet. "Rook, prepare two horses for both of us and... for 'them' "

eyes widened in shock, Rook's mouth was left agape. "...A-As you wish" Vil was truly unpredictable. Is he planning to bring the bodies back to the palace? "But the two are already dea--"

"They're alive"

Not waiting for the blonde man to prepare the horses like what he asks him to do, he quickly took a horse from the stables. "Don't ask any more questions. It's making me annoyed"

He was amused by how Vil acts right now. He never acted like this before. Asking questions isn't allowed so he kept his mouth shut as he helped the Prince to prepare the horses before departing to their destination, your favorite forest.

The faster they could arrive, the earlier he could apologize for his mistakes. Like a twisted story of Snow White, the heroine will be poisoned by an apple and will only wake up after being kissed by her prince.

(Warning: Spoilers for episode 4 is up later lmao)

from the beginning, The prince didn't poison those apples at all. Instead, he cursed those by his unique magic. And the condition of that curse for it to fade was... the main victim should kiss or must be kissed by Vil. 

How about Epel's curse? Once your curse will fade, He'll be free from curse too.  If that happens, they will wake up from that deep slumber. Meaning, they weren't really dead.

Arriving at the so-called 'gravesite' the surrounding of the glass coffins were filled with bouquets of flowers even though they're at the center of the flower bed. Opening the lids of the furniture, Vil hesitated at first. He regrets each of his wrongdoings in the past, and he's ready to change so you could forgive him.

"...Y/n" he caresses your cheeks. "I know this is so impossible but... please forgive me. I admit that I'm wrong the whole time..."

staring at your beautiful tinted lips, he cannot stop his tears from rolling down on his cheek. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry for what I've done all this time to you...!" taking your hand, he gently squeezes it. He won't be able to forgive himself if he'll hurt you again. "Y/n...  I realized that I love you so much that it pains me from each of the horrible things I did to you but I failed to notice all of it..." pressing his lips to your knuckles, he prepared himself in stepping in the next level.

Rook watched him innocently. He's feeling proud of Vil as if he's his own son. This is the first time Vil has ever said 'sorry' to someone. Rook felt impatient, waiting for Vil to kiss you already so it'll end faster. Having an urge to force him to kiss your lips like grabbing the prince's hair and then pushing his head-- "ah, I'd rather die than doing that"

closing the distance between his and your lips, he gulped. He's too embarrassed to kiss a lady in front of... Rook. Especially that hunter 'guard' is watching intensively as if there's a show. 

Oh well

after minutes has passed, the prince finally pressed his lips on yours. The softness of your lips just made him addicted, tinting his cheeks red. The kiss was short yet amazing, not until your eyes opened slowly and he has to let go of your lips.

"Y/n!" Suddenly hugged you when you sat down. "I'm so glad you regained consciousness...!" Not getting what happened, you still hugged him back. You awkwardly smiled, sniffing his flowery scent. That nostalgic scent doesn't fail to make you happy.

Epel also woke up but after seeing Rook crying while watching Vil and you continue the drama, he continued to sleep on the casket as it was very comfortable. "Wake up once this shit is finished, please. I'm so done with this bullshit." He mumbled, but loid enough for Rook to hear it.

"Y/n... I love you. Please forgive m-"

"Um, i-it's okay, Prince Vil! Wait what...?" Blinking multiple times, you stared straighly at his eyes. "You... Love me?"

"Yes, i do"

Pinching your skin, you still cannot believe this is reality. But you also can't let this chance pass. Love does make people crazy...

"Me too, Prince Vil. I love you too...!" You pulled him into a tight hug. He was sincere with his apology and feelings, there's no problem with that. Their story did started badly, but the future is truly bright for their romance.

"I'm ready to change, Y/n.."

"I will always love you for who you are, Vil..."
