"Listen, I don't know who you are, or if you are really trying to help. So, I'm just going to go and we're never going to see each other again." He shrugged.

"Alright, fine. But you broke my window, and I'll be expecting you to at least look at the damage," he said. Without another word, he flew away.

I felt puzzled. I started to run away but turned around with a frustrated growl. If I had ruined his window, then maybe I could fix it... somehow.

I kept my pace until I saw the building where I think Stark went into. Scoping out the building, I found a large window that had been shattered. I groaned, then set down lightly in the building.

Looking around my feet at the glass shards, I bit my lip.

   "I knew you'd follow me."

I looked up and glared at Stark.

   "Did you now?" He smiled.

"Yep. Anyhow, I'm imagining that you're planning on fixing it." I rolled my eyes, then picked up a shard. I threw it at the open window, stopping it with a net of air. Slowly, I created a gentle breeze that lifted up all of the glass, floating it over then piecing it together until the window was fixed. I warmed up the air around the glass to a boiling degree, then watched the glass fuse together.

Tony stared at it for a second before shaking his head.

"Do you have telekinesis or something? Maybe a device that gives you telekinesis?" he asked.

"No. I hav... why do you want to know?"

"I've never see anything like it, that's all. Unless you count Wanda." I made a face.

"Since it's fixed, can I go now?"

"Hang on. What did those people want with you?" I scoffed.

"What do you want with me?" I shot back. The front of his iron suit opened and Tony stepped out. He tapped his chin.

"Touché. Alright, how about a deal?" For some strange reason, I felt intrigued.

"What kind of deal?" I edged.

"You can stay here for the night if you meet the team in the morning." I squinted in confusion. "Oh, come on. You don't know the Avengers?" I shook my head. "Captain America? Hawkeye? Black Widow? The Hulk?"

"No, no, no, no, and still no. If anything, you just made me more confused." Tony sighed impatiently. "And I'm good. I don't want to meet your team of misfits." He scoffed,

"Heroes. It's heroes." I simply rolled my eyes.

"Why do you want me to meet your 'heroes'?" I asked, placing my hands on my hips, jutting it out.

"Because I think they'd like you." I scowled. That was highly unlikely. Nobody liked a freak.

"Again, I'm good." He shook his finger at me.

"I know people, and you want to see what I'm talking about." Biting my lip, I huffed,

"Fine, but I'm staying by the window."

"Really? No bed? You'll sleep fine there?" I folded my arms and glared at him.

"Yes, and I don't sleep. I choose not too," I added when he made a face. He lifted up his hands in a surrendering gesture.

"Fine, fine. And thanks for fixing the window, whatever you did there." He walked out of a door on my left and then the lights flickered off.

I sat down, leaning my back against the window sill. I paused.

"If someone's watching me, go away." A voice rang out from one of the walls.

"Sorry, but Mr. Stark told me to keep an eye on you in case you decided to steal anything." I rolled my eyes.

"Well, you can tell tin can that I doubt there's anything I could steal. And even if there was, I wouldn't." Whatever was in here would just make me easier to track. "What's your name?" I asked, curious.

"I'm Friday. And yours?" I dropped my head, biting my tongue on the unspoken word. Instead, I said the first name that came to mind.

"(Y/N), but you can call me whatever. I don't care." That wasn't even remotely true. I had wanted a real name but couldn't bring myself to give myself a name. I had only been called Twelve my entire life. Apparently that was my number or something.

I stared out the window, feeling lost.

   "I'm sorry," Friday said suddenly.

"It's okay. I'm used to it. Thank you anyway, Friday." I stared out at the moon. "Random question, but what year is it?" A pause.

"2015." So I was twenty-seven. I pulled my legs to my chest, resting my cheek on my knees.

   "Thank you," I whispered.

Tony's POV

Heading back to my lab, my head was swirling with questions. Who was that girl, and why on earth did she have a pull on my mind? I called out,

"Friday, give me the camera view of the lounge."

"Right away, sir," the AI answered immediately. A screen popped up in front of my face, showing the woman who had broken a bullet proof window. It amazed me how she had even though she was nowhere near it. And then she fixed it. Usually, I wasn't in wonder, but there was something strange about her. I picked up my coffee mug, watching as the woman looked around the room before sitting by the window. I breathed a laugh.

"Watch her Friday, and alert me if she says anything."

"Of course, sir." The screen blinked away as I turned to my repulsor. Before I could start increasing the number of electrons it turned into muons, another screen showed the room. I swore.

"Really, Friday? This soon?" I asked.

"Sorry, sir. Just doing my orders," Friday replied. Turning my attention back to the repulsor, I hear the woman snap,

"Well, you can tell tin can that I doubt there's anything I could steal. And even if there was, I wouldn't." I chuckled at her attitude. Boy, was she wrong, I thought. Unexpectedly, she asked, "What's your name?" Huh. So, she had a soul. Not sure if she had a brain though, if she was asking technology it's names. Loyally, Friday told her then asked for the woman's. There was a pause.

"(Y/N) but you can call me whatever. I don't care." Raising my eyebrows, thought,

That's strange. I said to Friday,

"Turn off camera." The view of the lounge zipped away as I thought,

I guess I'll have to find out about her on my own.
