"kaori I'll be going to the library now I really need to do this" y/n stuffed all her books her bag without a care if it would get crumpled she was excited to go the library....though she didn't know why.
"I'll get these things ready" she grabbed all the paper works she needed from the her bag and sat down to organize everything. As she started doing it, she started overthinking about her past.thoughts like:
"I wonder why they did that"
"was I wrong to think that it was they're fault?"
"I should have just worked harder"
"what if I did those things and ran but they don't accept me back when I do get better at alot of things?"
"aren't they my parents why would they do that"
"I'm overthinking but why I just need answers...it's bad having these memories back again...I wish I did suppress them so much I forgot..I just wanna.."
Before y/n realized it, konoha was in front of her staring. "what's wrong with you? you look like you're drifting too far from your thoughts it looks silly how you just look like you stopped function I thought you were a doll eheh that's creepy" konoha chuckled at the girl. "those it look that creepy...." y/n drifted off again. konoha grabbed the papers in y/n hand. "I'll treat you to ice cream so..." konoha looked away before continuing "don't look so sad..." y/n was surprised from his response. she felt happy how someone took notice of the fact she didn't look happy. people don't usually just ignore leave her be when she does open up. but then again she always smiled even in distress and hid her thoughts with her smile even to yukie and kaori.
"really you'd buy me food?" y/n looked up slowly revealing a real smile since who doesn't smile when someone treats them to food. "yup whenever you feel like it ...your class has a lot of cafe suggestions haven't you've done that the previous years?" konoha asked y/n while he was still looking at the papers. "previous years our class would do horror mazes or art museum presentations or a eating contest" y/n looked at konoha "when did you arrive, by the way" y/n said as she tilted her head with curiosity. "I came here a few minutes you arrived I saw you unpacking your bags and stayed till you really looked like you were drifting off too much" konoha looked at y/n and continued his help. "thanks konoha" started settling in and did her work. hours passed as they both finally sorted out the votes and arranged a proper schedule on how to festival will flow.
"sighhhhh..." konoha stretched as much as he could. "I think we're almost done for everything. didn't you have to also do something in the library konoha?" y/n asked konoha as she also stretched as much as she can. " I do actually but we can do it tomorrow if you're okay with it." "what about you're practice? don't you also have to practice volleyball?" y/n asked. "since it's almost the school festival we're having a short break but you could come anytime just like how bokuto still comes and practices with akaashi."
"hmmm understandable..well I'll be going home now see you tomorrow konoha"
"yup see you"
Day 7 (Tuesday)
"you're here again" konoha placed his bags down. "well..we did agree on meeting today didn't we" y/n smiled as she looked up to him and continued her work. "yeah...I'll be looking for books later help me look for them." konoha said as he got a papers out from his bag to see the list of books he needs to borrow and quickly helped y/n after bringing them out. "sure" y/n said as she skimmed through the papers she had.
30 minutes have passed:
"whewww....let's look for your books it's tiring just sitting down like this" y/n stretched as she got up. "okay..here" konoha handed her a list for the things she needs to look for with him. "this is alot of books just for a horror maze?" y/n said as she started looking for the books. "well majority of them have something to do with sewing I think we'll all be dressing up into something." konoha turned to a another bookshelf

y/n: "what will you be dressing up as? A ghost?"
konoha:"well...I think it was a vampire"
"that's pretty nice actually...I think you'll look cool as one"
"really? I think I'll look weird"
"look I found the last book to what you were looking for" y/n had all the books she saw in the list in her hands. "shall we head back" y/n looked at konoha and headed back to their table.
hours passed as they were fixing everything. "WE'RE DONE" y/n smiled as she saw all the votes, schedule and flow of the entire program done.
"should we celebrate this by eating ice cream on our way home?" konoha asked y/n. "YES THIS HARD WORK SHALL WE BE REWARDED YAYAYAY" y/n gleefully packed her stuff and they both headed to they're small randevu with each other before going home.
yayyyyyy I finally posted something here this story is gonna be long and I'm not sure if this is even how x readers go. should they be a short story or a long conflicting story? either way I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
