AN: Hi there! It's been along time since I wrote and I have discovered that being sick gives you all the time you need to compose something. This poem, btw, is not that perfect and may not entirely follow the guidelines on how to really write poetry, but who cares! (English teachers maybe. Meh.) I PUT A LOT OF FEELINGS HERE! Anyways, hope you'll enjoy this. =)

I.
For six years, I'd waited
For this glorious time.
Myself could have fainted,
For the news was sublime.
"Studies first," I declared.
Same thing he has replied
To his best friend who's fair
And does not possess pride.
Shared emotions disclosed,
When one question was asked.
"D'you like me?" I fake prosed.
"Yes." My heart's beating fast.
Feelings can't be contained
To the evening's darkness.
My face was red-painted,
And my smile reached ears' ends.
Then you asked a question,
"How long did you like me?"
Slowed my comprehension,
The query he asked me.
Confidently, I said,
"For six years already."
Seems like he wasn't fazed.
His best friend shouted, "Yieeee!"
II.
Once again I asked him,
Though hesitant in thought
I sent it through a text.
"Do you like me or not?"
I had a weird feeling
My mind could not to bask.
Then he replied to me,
"I like you...... many ask."
I sigh, not in relief,
But because of the joy.
"He really does like me!"
I shouted and rejoiced!
Even before the call,
We were constantly teased.
The teasing grew stronger
Because our friends were pleased.
Any simple gesture,
Any simple remark,
The people around tease
But it's fine on my mark.
For six years, I've stood by.
I have wished for this time.
Up to this very day,
The news remain sublime.
