Myra Hall has been an orphan since she was eight. Her parents were found brutally murdered in their home. Miles Fairchild whose parents are also dead is intrested in her.

Myra Hall grew up in a very small and gloomy town. She lived with her parents in a small home until she was eight years old. Her parents were brutally murdered in her own home. Although Myra heard everything she did nothing. She didn't call the police nor cry, Her parents didn't treat her well or bad. Her dad was american and was a huge redneck, she wasn't very close to him nor did she want to be. Her dad was named Philip and he was very cruel towards those with a different opinion as him. He was also very disrespectful towards women. He'd say things such as; "women should not be able to vote or run for office. That's ridiculous.". Myra often heard her father abuse her mother. This pained her, she knew her mother was a good person. Her mother was named Ruby. Her mother is British and was incredibly sweet. Her mother wasn't the kindest to her though. Myra was born with very black hair and eyes so dark you couldn't see a reflection. She has pale skin, and she was a bit on the chubby side. Myra's looks disappointed her mother. Ruby would always mock the girl for her pale skin and weight, it never affected Myra though. Myra's reaction to things was bland, her reactions to this were not. It physically hurts her brain when she asks herself this. When her neighbors came inside to question the sounds from the night, the girl let the neighbor in, and pointed to the bedroom where her parents were found, dead. The lady screamed and dialed 911. Myra's lack of reaction shocked the police. The way she calmly explained what she heard, and went silent when asked why she didn't do anything still gives the town the chills. Now, Myra is 15. She lives with a foster family who isn't rude in fact they're very sweet. They have no rules, and wouldn't care if she ran away. She chooses not to though because she doesn't know what she'd do or where'd she go. She never had any close friends in school, because no one spoke to her. Everyone would keep their distance because someone started a rumor, she killed her own parents. The rumor itself is disgusting considering the fact it isn't true. No one paid much attention to her after the rumor got old, except one boy. His name was Miles Fairchild. Miles was a strange boy. I don't was just weird, but he was creepy. His parents were also dead, but they died in a tragic car accident. He had big curly black hair, and he was very pale in skinny. His cheekbones were well defined, which made him attractive. Miles did well in school, besides the fact he often gets in fights ending in serious injury. The fights were often provoked by people making fun of him for his parents which is awful. Miles was young when his parents passed, but if affected him so greatly leading up to high school. Myra interested him a lot. Of course not in a romantic way, he could never feel that way towards someone, it would make him weak. She was just, unique. He didn't know what it was but he just needed to know her. Myra thought nothing much of Miles. He didn't scare her or anything special. She did, have respect for him than anyone else in that school. Maybe it was because they both didn't have parents, or maybe it was his reaction towards bullying. In the middle of October, between seventh and eighth period, a boy made a joke about Myra. Miles happened to over hear and it was about the rumor. That rumor made his blood boil, the amount of anger he feels when he hears about it is unexplained. It's not even funny or interesting. As the kid chuckled Miles stomped his way over, throwing his fist. All he can remember is the kid crying, while Miles was choking him, nearly to death. Miles was later suspended. Myra witnessed the whole thing. Miles, had caught her attention like he intended to.
