A Love-Sharing Secret

The Day that started it all

It was a beautiful day in the big city of Paris, Marinette was rushing around the house grabbing what she needed for school. "Mom! Dad! I love you both, but I'm going to be late." She yelled running towards the door."Make sure you grab breakfast!" Her mother replied from the other room. Doing as she's told, she grabbed an apple running out the door. Today was A big day for her. Today was the day she was going to tell Adrien how she felt.

As for Adrien, his day went by normally. His father not talking to him, and him following orders from his father. He dreaded waking up in the mornings. He put on his clothes, grabbed his bag, and went and ate breakfast silently like he does every day. He hated it. It was the most dreadful part of his day. But His heart was full of excitement when he leaves every day to go to school. Most kids, that are like him, hated going to school because they thought it was stupid. But Adrien love seeing his friends. Especially Marinette. She's been a big part of his life since they met. She may be just a friend, but she's closer than Alya or Nino could ever be.
As he walked out the door, saying bye to Natalie, he made his way towards school. Not seeing Marinette but seeing his two other friends, he wondered what she could be? "Alya, isnt Marinette going to be late?" Adrien asked as he walked up to his friends waiting by the door. Alya sighs slightly shaking her head, " Adrien you should know by now that Marinette is always late." As they chuckled about their friend, they hear rushing footsteps approach them. "I'm here! I'm here!" Shouted a red face out of breath Marinette. They laughed and all walked into school ready to start the day.

A few hours past, and school has ended. Marinette and Alya are talking on the bench across from where the boys are sitting.
" you've got this girl!" Said Marinette's best friend as she takes her hand. Marinette could not take her eyes off of Adrien. He's been her crush since he started here. A million thoughts were running through her head as she tried to figure out the words to tell him how she felt. But none that sounded right came to mind. "Alya I really don't think this is such a good idea anymore. I was so confident earlier but now, I'm not so sure" said a shaking Marinette. She always gets nervous around Adrien if they talk about each other, but here lately she's gotten so used to it that she didn't realize about her crush on him. "Mari,  just say it from the heart like you do everything else." Alya Said she made Marinette stand up. Marinette glared at her best friend for a second before glancing over at Adrien Agreste. The boy she's become best friends with since he started here. The boy that had her heart forever. As she takes two steps towards him a loud bang ring through the school. she looked up to see a huge monster crashing through the city, and she sighs deeply.
"Guess I got work to do first!" She thought to her self as she runs towards the women's restroom. She transforms quickly and jumped out the bathroom window.  At the same time Chat Noir decided to do the same thing. Meeting at the usual spot, the superheroes look out amongst The city at the damage caused by the monster. Another victim has been akumatized by their arch enemy Hawkmoth. For months they've wondered who Hawkmoth could be. As they fight, chat flirts, and the team saves the day as usual. " Pound it!" The duo says in unison before helping the  akumatized victim. Chat then looks at ladybug with loving eyes but the smile has disappeared from his face. Ladybug notices her partner seemed kind of down, but she was afraid to acknowledge it. "What's wrong kitty?" She asked her partner with sad eyes. Chat looked away from her not trying to catch her eyes, but his heart needed to know. " milady, I need to know who you are. Under the mask" Chat knew what her answer was going to be but he was astounded at what she said. " Kitty, I want to know who you are as well, but you know what that will do" chat sighed and nodded. " I know LB, and I know you'll never love me. But I just need to know who you are under that mask. I know your heart belongs to someone else, but my heart will always belong to you. Just know that lady bug" Chat looked so serious as he looked at his partner. Ladybug was shocked at his response.  She looked out amongst the city once again as the sun started to go down. She realize nobody had been out that night after the attack, and she knew chat did a good job as usual helping her to save the day.  she sighed and sat down on the Eiffel tower letting her feet dangle. " maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea if we knew. But I'm not who I say I am under this mask. Chat under this mask I'm nothing. I'm just a girl who..." her voice trailed off as she thought of Marinette, her other half. The black cat side beside his lady and put a hand on her shoulder. " whoever you are under that mask, I will love you each and every day. No matter who you are." LB closed her eyes as she knew he was right. He would love her. But what he loves Marinette? She turned and looked at him with a serious expression, " Close your eyes" He instantly did as she told him to do. She took a deep breath and looked at him before closing hers. "Tikki, spots off."
Chat his heart beating his chest. This is happening. This is actually happening. Ladybug is showing him who she really is under the mask. The girl he fell in love with the first moment he saw her. She's finally showing him who she is. No one will know. They will keep it a secret. But what will the effects be after the reveal.
"Plagg, Claws in" he said after she finished. He transformed and took a deep breath. " milady? Can I open my eyes now?" He asked as his lady took a deep breath. Marinette kept her eyes tightly closed and nodded slightly, " go ahead."
The moment was here. How would he feel. His adrenaline is skyhigh and his heart is about to beat out of his chest. Who was the girl under the mask? He opened his eyes to find Marinette sitting in front of him. He looked at her shocked as tears came to his eyes. How does he not know this? The girl who had a crush on him for months, who's that behind him in class, who helped him with everything, was the girl he was in love with. "Mari?" Was all he could choke out. Marinette froze at the sound of her name. "Y-you know me?" She asked starting to shake a little. Adrien chuckled and nodded, " yes! Yes I know you! And right now I couldn't be more in love with you. Open your eyes" Mari slowly opened hers to find her crush sitting in front of her.  Adrien Agreste was Chat Noir?! The guy with the cat puns was the young model that everyone was in love with? Her heart was pounding so quick that she thought she might pass out. She couldn't believe it. She instantly hugged him tightly as tears started streaming down both of their faces. They didn't know the love of their lives was the girl sitting behind him in class and the guy with the dumb cat puns. They sat there for a few minutes as the sun started to slowly go down. This was going to be an adventure.
