Sonic was depressed cause no one needed him anymore. His former friends had Shadow be their leader and friend and banished him along with the villagers who turned their back against him like they did those other times. Sonic once had a crush on Knuckles but unfortunately Knuckles didn't feel the same way as him cause he liked Shadow. He felt pain and suffering like he did when he lost his parents and sister. The only ones who were on his side were his childhood friends Rika and Grey-Sky. Though when Sonic was banished Rika went with him while Grey-Sky was at his village at the time. Sonic and Rika were traveling together to stay at the village Grey-Sky lives at. Sonic was in the woods looking up in the sky when Rika came to him and said, "hey there Sonic." The blue hedgehog turned to her and said, "oh hey Rika." Sonic looked down as Rika replied, "still bummed out buddy?" Sonic nodded just after Rika's reply. Sonic said as he looked at his friend, "Rika? How much farther til we reach the village Grey-Sky lives in?" Rika said, "hopefully not to far besides he's expecting us at any day or time but we may wanna hurry he's not very patient about waiting as he use to." Sonic chuckled and said, "hehe Grey-Sky hasn't changed a bit." Both chuckled cause it was true. But just after they stopped chuckling Sonic was suddenly surrounded by fog as he looks around. Sonic was puzzled before he looked to see a familiar figure being held by what appeared to be a demonic being. Sonic looked closer before recognizing the figure and mumbled in shock, "wa-wait... is that?...no it can't be." The figure let out a female scream as Sonics eyes widen before speeding off to the figure and said, "STOP!! NO!! LEAVE HER ALONE!" That's when he felt a hand on his shoulder and everything around him was normal. He sees Rika who had a worried expression and said, "Yo Sonic you really startled me." Sonic asked, "what happened?" Rika places her hands on her hips and said, "you blanked out like at an instant dude. Are you feeling okay?" Sonic replied, "yes. I'm just feeling a little tired is all." Rika said, "Well hopefully we're almost there to Wolf-Scar village." Both hedgehogs nodded before they continue walking along to Grey-Skys's at Wolf-Scar village.
