"Damn, I should have known multiple Time Portals would have terrible consequences, but I didn't expect this," Chronos said. "Then again, I should have known better. Man, I'm starting to let my guard down. I can't say that I regret it, or I couldn't care for my brothers the way I do."
Chronos looked around to see his surroundings. He found himself in an alleyway near a busy street. Luckily for him, people who passed the alley didn't notice him. Chronos decided to take inventory of his current situation.
Chronos opened a window to see the codes of the AU he was in, only to be shocked to find out he was in another Multiverse. More shocking, he found two of his counterparts in the same Multiverse. Both had kids and worked at a school. On closer inspection, a lot of the Multiversal Skeletons go to the same school. Luckily for him, there was only one Ink. Chronos learned that history said that monsters were never sealed and magic was almost extinct with the exception of Erratum and his kids.
He wasn't quite sure how to act or react to being in this Multiverse. Chronos was just sure that his brothers were safe. He knew the oldest would watch over their younger siblings, even if Paper Crane was physically older.
Chronos decided to test something. He opened a window to his Anti-void, or De-void. Looking in, he saw that no one was there, which was expected as he forced everyone out before the Time Portals took him to this Multiverse. Chronos used his magic to shift the window to a portal and tried to step in. However, he got terrible shocks by just going into the portal. Chronos closed the portal with the conclusion that he was stuck in this Multiverse and he couldn't enter his De-void because it was linked to Timeverse, his home Multiverse.
Chronos decided to look around, but decided to avoid the school where a lot of counterparts are at. The city was really busy with a lot of humans and monsters going about their lives. Though, Chronos noticed a lot of racism towards monsters, but that was normal in comparison to Monsters escaping the Underground and living on the surface for a time.
Chronos was kind of worried though. He was getting familiar stares, ones he received in Quantumtale when people first laid eyes on him. The worry, the suspicion, the pity, all of it was familiar. A lot of people looked at him like this unless they had better things to look at or were distracted. This was often brought on due to his collection of visible scars. Then again, it could also be his age and the fact he was walking around alone. After all, a twelve year-old should be in school on a Friday, but Chronos didn't know this.
By the time Chronos made his way out of the city and into a more residential area, it was late afternoon. There weren't many people out, mainly kids and teens playing with each other. All of them were too focused to notice him. Chronos took a seat near a tree and just watched on. It wasn't any different from when he was home with Sans and Papyrus, but he didn't interfere if someone got hurt or a fight happened.
As it got later in the day, many were heading home. However, Chronos noticed that one teen was playing basketball on his own in front of, what he assumed, was the kid's house. Looking closely, Chronos saw that this kid was a mix of Passive!Nightmare and Cross as the kid looked like Cross, but had Nightmare's bone structure. Seeing this kid made him wonder if their kids would look anything like this.
Watching the kid, Chronos saw that kid was practicing very well. However, Chronos knew that practicing with someone can help improve their skills since basketball has multiple players. Chronos got up and moved to stand on the sidewalk of the driveway. Then he picked up the ball once it went over the kid's head.
"O-oh! Hey there! Thanks for catching my ball, kid!" The kid said as Chronos handed it over. "My name is Moonlight! What's your name?"
"My name is Chronos," Chronos said. "Chronos Erratum du Void. It's very nice to meet you, Moonlight! Can I play with you?"
