~Y/n's POV~

I stared at my figure in the mirror, this outfit was not my taste. The pale blue skirt was too short, and the shirt didn't help at all.

On top of that, it was also required to wear thigh high stockings. Genius right? What could go wrong?

Everything.

Who knows what teenage boys would think when they see me. The last thing I need is one of them breaking my heart, but that wouldn't happen. I'm known to be a strong person, well, maybe not that strong.

Whatever the case is, high school guys are pretty predictable. Every girl should know this, but they still fall for those who'll only hurt them.

Enough sappy talk, I raised a finger to my lashes. The mascara stained my S/c skin, though it was the only makeup I put on. My ears flicked a stray hair away.

What were we doing here? Oh right, complaining about this uniform. I don't know why this school makes me wear this. It's torture, but not only the annoyingly short skirt.

The part that would annoy me the most would be the werewolf rules. My stupid principle explained that new werewolves would start off as an Omega. Why exactly?

Good question.

It was idiotic, and why couldn't one of the new freshmen be an Omega?

Another really good question.

Something about "newcomers needed to be taught". Nonsense. Everything he said flew out the other ear.

My F/c tail flickered in annoyance, clearly angry at the school. I'd have to fight a higher wolf to replace the role, and though I could fight anyone I don't want to. Why? Well, being alone is better than being mixed up in drama.

And high school was full of pathetic drama.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Have a great day, sweetie!" My mother spoke from behind me. I glanced her way and smiled, waving at her.
The walk to the school was surprisingly short, despite my attempt to slow down and "be late". It's not that I don't want to go there... well, yea it is. I don't like school.
But the thing I dreaded the most finally happened. Werewolves from all around glared at me, some growled and rolled their eyes. This wasn't the first person who hated me, and it wouldn't be the last.
A squeaky yet demanding voice could be heard from afar. It almost sounded like a chipmunk, going through puberty, twice. My legs made their way to the noise, curious as to what animal was being hurt.
"Give Rylan his ball back, Blaze!" My ears twitched at the chipmunk's sudden outburst. Yes, I called it that, it was the only thing it reminded me of.
"But-"
"No buts!"
A snicker fled my lips, catching sight of a small human screeching at a group of werewolves. The human glared at two particular wolves, one had brown hair and the other had red.
The two wolves sighed at the smaller one, What? Redhead handed brownie the bright green bouncy ball. "Here Rylan," the redhead groaned.
The supposed "Rylan" grabbed it from him, they both averted each others eyes. The chipmunk of a human spoke up with hands-on-hips. "Now apologize, Blaze."
Redhead, or "Blaze" stared at the girl, he then backed off with a sighed. "I'm sorry, Rylan."
"For?" Man, this chipmunk of a girl was persistent. Cocky, loud, and brave for speaking to a werewolf-like that. It was almost like they were treating her like Alpha.
"For taking your ball," he huffed. I couldn't help but giggle at the episode playing out before me. That was until the small girl heard me, her raven head of hair whipped around to me.
Her amber eyes struck me, no wonder why those wolves did what she said. I quickly shut my lips, my ears falling down. The girls' face softened, a smile resting along her plump lips.
"Sorry about them, they always get out of line." She stepped forward, I did the same. Luckily for me, she was a bit shorter, though her voice and eyes were plenty intimidating.
I stood a bit taller, one thing my father taught me was to never be intimidated by anyone. So, I did my best every day to not show my weaknesses. But this would be different, being an Omega meant being weak. I hated it.
My shoulders then dropped, the confidence fading. Stupid Omega rules.
"I'm Aphmau, the female Alpha." Did those words just come out of her mouth? No, I must be dreaming.
Sadly this wasn't a dream, for Irene's sake, this couldn't get any crazier. "I'm Y/n, the Omega." I hated that word, despised how it sounded.
"Oh, so you're the new Omega. Hmm, I thought you'd be a freshman." Wow, thanks chipmunk. Her hand reached up to her chin, a brow raised as she studied me.
She can't say anything, at least I look my age. Though the way she was shaped reminded me of a potato. "Well I'm not, I'm a sophomore."
Her expression changed, a small smile resting upon her lips. "Me too!" Huh, wasn't expecting that.
"Cool." I grinned back at her, my F/c tail beginning to wag.
"Hey Alpha! Can we meet the new Omega?" A cheerful voice spoke up from behind her. My E/c orbs trailed to a female werewolf with bright blue eyes. Her dark, blueish-purple hair and ears twitched at the sight of me.
She stood a bit taller than me, then a male werewolf with greenish almost dirty blonde hair stood beside her. The two grinned widely at me, the Rylan werewolf motioned them to come forward.
"This is Dottie, Daniel, and Rylan." Aphmau pointed to them, once I figured it out I nodded. "Dottie, Daniel, Rylan, this is Y/n."
The Dottie girl smiled cheekily at me, her eyes softening despite my lower status. "Hi, Y/n!" Daniel waved while Rylan chuckled. They seemed so nice, something the other wolves didn't treat me.
"Hey," my voice cracked a bit. Pretty normal, I just hated it like a lot of things. It only did that when I was nervous. And boy was I nervous, these wolves and humans weren't like the others.
The Blaze wolf walked over his black tail swishing. "'Sup, I'm Blaze, the Beta."
I noticed his mix-matched eyes, it was very unique. A smile pulled on my lips, "Hey." I could tell from his posture he tried his best to seem "cool". It was funny, I could tell he was a very lovable wolf.
The sound of a bell caught my attention, Aphmau squeaked. "There's the bell! C'mon guys, we don't want to be late for class."
She smiled at us, the wolves nodded and waltzed into the school. It was odd seeing a human commanding wolves, though I'm not going to question it.
Dottie, Daniel, and Rylan raced into the doors. Laughter and howls escaped their lips, Blaze snickered at them and ran up ahead. The group chased each other, their faces an expression of joy.
It was refreshing, seeing some others express their playful sides. I couldn't help but feel my heart flutter at the joyous laughter echoing through the halls.
The feeling soon faded, replaced with a new and weird emotion. Well, not emotion, it felt as if someone was staring me down. It gave me stalker vibes, I shivered and tried my best to shake it off.
It's probably the nerves making me paranoid, but why all of a sudden? I admit it was unsettling, but I'll get over it.
Hopefully.
