It was like any other day in the kitchen, Orange was up to his regular shenanigans annoying the life out of our dear friend Pear. Orange kept making a "nya" noise, sticking out his tongue in the process, driving Pear mad.

"Do you EVER shut up!?" Pear remarked, gritting his teeth.

Suddenly, Orange stopped and smiled at Pear. "Nah, not usually, HAHAHAHA" he made that annoying laugh that Pear seemed to tolerate each time. Or was it something more than toleration, was it a genuine friend thing? Pear just rolled his eyes and started watching his favorite channel: Fred.

"HEY ITS FRED!!" he heard the young, squeaky voiced, prepubescent boy scream. Pear wasn't really sure why he enjoyed Fred's channel so much, he was almost as annoying as Orange. In fact, they've even met in public before, well... Orange claims they met anyway. He would constantly brag about it to Pear.

Suddenly, Orange turned to Pear as he saw what he was watching. "Oh! You're watching that freaky Fred dude again? He's soooo annoying!" Orange laughed.

Oh how ironic... Pear thought to himself.

"hehe.. juuuust kidding Peary. Did you catch the irony in there? OH WAIT! I could've made an IRONING JOKE! HAHAHAHAH" Orange was almost in tears laughing.

Pear rolled his eyes. "How is that funny what so ever? Also, what have I told you about calling me Peary!?"

Orange looked up at his green haired friend. "Ah don't get your 'stem' in a twist Pear! I'm just knitting around! HAHAHAH!!!!"

Pear was slightly offended, and more angrier this time. "THAT JOKE DOESN'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE! and I'm well aware I need to dye my roots again, Orange. Some of us aren't naturally orange, green, purple... whatever colored hair like you."

Orange saw that Pear was hurt, but couldn't help himself to make one last joke...

"Aw I'm sorry Pear... I'm sure my words must've hurt as bad as a k-"

"THAT is IT! I'M OUT."

Before Orange could even finish, Pear had left. Orange was alone in the kitchen with only his thoughts left with him. He looked down.

Why does Pear hate me so gosh darn much? I don't try to hurt his feelings... I just wish I could make him smile.
