THE MEET UP

(Author note: thank you so much for reading my story ...its my first time ever writing so im just looking at the feed back....enjoy)8

"Amelia ....Amelia" my annoying friend screams for me to get out of bed. I twist and turn not wanting to wake up today.

"You'll be late for class dumb ass" she says with annoyance. I roll out of bed and dragged myself to the bathroom.

"Rain..what did you do with my face scrub?" I yelled from our apartment bathroom. My friend Rain and i meet on our first day of college, we were even roommates we clicked as friends and during out second year we decided to get an apartment off campus together.

Im Amelia Williams and I'm 17 years old , born and raised in the Caribbean  ( Trinidad and Tobago to be exact).  I applied for Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Canada and I actually got in, it's been great so far but i can't shake the feeling that somethings gonna happen soon.

"Have you looked in the shower?" Rain yelled from the kitchen. Im already running later so i skipped my morning shower , put on my scrubs , got my bag and ran to my car. As i drive to the campus my stomach reminds me thati haven't eaten breakfast. " I'll go grab something after my classes" i try to not think about the noise my stomach is making.

It's now 2:00pm and I'm finished with my last class, i text Rain to ask if she's free for "lunch" and make my way to Arby's to wait for her. As i got out of my car and walk to the fastfood restaurant i bump into someone.

" oh shit im so sorry..i wasn't watching where i was going" i say without hesitation.

" it's alright , no harm done" A tall I'm guessing 6 foot 3 guy with beautiful light blue eyes says to me.

" although you did just kill my sandwich " he laughs and points to the floor. As i notice his sandwich on the floor i felt a rush of embarrassment hit me.

" im so sorry, let me buy you another" before he could even answer i pull the stranger by his jacket inside the restaurant.

" yow it's ok" he calmly says. " no need to go through all that ..i can buy my own and maybe buy yours to" he looks at me with a small grin on his face . As im about to answer my friend / roommate walks through the door. " my friend is here ...im gonna go , sorry again " i shyly walk away and grab a table to sit at with Rain.

As my friend and i decide what we're getting the tall stranger walks up to us . " hey...i didn'tget your name" he says with so much confidence, both my friend and i look at each otherand back to the stranger.  " I'm Amelia " i say while i feel my stomach tingle ,
" Nice to meet you Amelia ...im Hero" our eyes lock to each other's " so now that we introduced ourselves , can i have your number?" I was so taken aback by his boldness that i couldn't answer, instead Rain intervenes and answers for me. " here I've already got it writtendown for you" she says with a grin. The handsome man takes the paper, gives us a smile and walks away.

"What the fuck was that " i say louder than i intended.

" im just helping out a friend..did you not see him, he's hot and he clearly likes you" she says annoyingly

He is beautiful.  Light blue eyes , pale skin , dark hair with the most pinkest lips I've ever seen and a few tattoos i could see .

" yes he's hot but he's clearly older than my " telling my friend frantically.

" can you relax he may not even call you anyway " she's right he won't call me , he might even get rid of the number. Ok fine ill relax. We then order our food.
