Our wolves were surrounding our part of land near the sacred lake. The other pack named blood moon, also wanted this lake for its myth of the moon goddess. We won't let them have it. we sense them coming our way. "shift." I say and all shift to their wolf forms. I also shift into my grey wolf form. My father was right behind us. He was in human form. I smell something sweet and I feel attracted to the direction where our enemies were coming. 'Mate is near.' My wolf told me. I shrug the thought of finally finding my mate.

The alpha appears in front of us with few wolves by his side. Mike growls at him. I snap my head to him and mind link him. 'Shut it! Or do you want me to snap your neck?' I say to him. He quietly looks away, admitting his defeat. I can't let him cause a stupid growl to get many of our wolves killed.

I smell the familiar sweet smell, but now closer. I see a man walk and stand beside the bloodmoon's alpha. He makes eye contact with me and I felt electricity flow in my veins. I shuttered under his gaze. 'Ocean are you feeling okay?' Jason asks. 'Y-yeah' I respond through mind link. I look anywhere else except for the hazel eyes of that man. I couldn't believe my mate is someone of their pack.

Father won't allow this...
