Big Brother: Twisted Fairy Tale

Week 1

Julie: 16 brand new housemates are prepared to enter a fairy tale house, but will they make it out when Big Brother twists the story? Good evening, I'm Julie Chen-Moonves. Tonight, 16 brand new faces will embark on the journey of a lifetime as they step foot into the house of fairy tales. What they don't know is that Big Brother has planned to twist the fairy tale into a nightmare. What will the housemates have to go through in order to win? You'll soon find out. But first, no fairy tale is complete without an all powerful ruler.... Hello, houseguests! It's time for the first head of household competition. This competition is called "Wheel of Fortune", and here is how it works. On the giant wheel are all of your names, along with 16 blank spaces. Hidden within the house are 16 Charmed Chips. When you hear the horn, race into the house and begin the search for the chips. After 3 minutes, return to the backyard. Each chip you collect will equal an addition of your name on the wheel. When all adjustments to the wheel have been made, the wheel will be spun. The houseguest selected will win the first HOH. Just to be clear, you could collect 10 Charmed Chips and lose the competition to a houseguest who collected zero Charmed Chips. Does everyone understand?

Houseguests: Yes!

Julie: The competition will begin at the sound of the horn.

*the horn sounds*

Julie: ... The three minutes are up! It looks like Melody collected the most Charmed Chips, adding her name to the wheel four times. Andrew and Natalie's names will each be added three times. Ciara's name will be added twice. Kameron, Layla, Rianne, and Austin's names will all be added once. Everyone else will only be on the wheel with their default placement. It's time to spin the wheel......... Congratulations, Austin, you are the first head of household!

*1 hour later*

Simon, in the DR: When Austin won HOH, I definitely felt an immediate sense of safety and I of course wanted to form some sort of alliance with him.

Simon: So I was thinking... you, me, Emerald, Natalie, Rianne. I talked to Rianne already, she's down, but I just need you, Emerald, and Natalie.

Austin: I love it. When I look around at who's in the house, you four definitely stood out the most to me. I'll for sure keep you four safe this week. I'm thinking Andrew and Melody for nominations, with Melody as the target. She did the best in the HOH, she needs to go.

Simon: Yeah, for sure. I'm down to get her out first. I just need to talk to the other three and make sure they're on board.

Austin: Yeah, sounds good.

Natalie, in the DR: So Simon comes up to me with this alliance of five, and I obviously agree to join because I want them to carry me to the end so I can win.

Emerald, in the DR: I'm 100% down for this alliance that Simon brings up to me, I think there's a lot of power players that could help get me far.

*30 minutes later*

Julie: Houseguests, please gather in the living room.

Melody, in the DR: Julie, I just made a fool of myself in the HOH comp, don't do this to me!

Julie: As you all know, this year you have entered the world of fairy tales.... which brings us to the first twist. Throughout the season, you will become characters in a popular fairy tale, but the story will be twisted. This week, you are all entering Jack and the Beanstalk. In the backward is a raised platform, as well as two foam bats. You will each face off in pairs of two, attempting to knock your opponent off of the platform using your bat. The competition is split into 7 rounds. The winners of rounds 1 and 2 will face off, as well as the winners of rounds 3 and 4 and rounds 5 and 6. The winner of round 7 will face off against the housemate who didn't compete in any of the rounds. After these four winners are crowned, the winners of rounds 1 and 2 will fight off, as well as the winners of rounds 3 and 4. We will then move on to the final round. Each opponent eliminated is one more step up the beanstalk, and the winner will be able to collect the golden egg of safety. Does everyone understand?
