"i mean, i r-really l-like eating i-ice cream" i mentally slapped myself.

'dammit how can I be so stupid'

"no no, we can go now i don't mind."

i shot my head up from the ground, looking at him with wide eyes.

"wait seriously?" i honestly didn't think he'd say yes.

"uhhh yea sure. i still owe you for finding my keychain"
he seemed a bit awkward but still agreed.

"okay let's go then" i walked ahead of him, skipping happily with a wide smile on my face.

'UGH IM SUCH AN IDIOT, HOW COULD I FORGET SHE ASKED ME OUT'
i stopped screaming at myself in my head, realising what I just thought.
'wait what... no we're just eating ice cream what are you saying'

"there's this really good place 10 minutes from here. we can just walk there. there's a park nearby too"

i snapped out of my thoughts looking at sunhee as
she turned around and smiled at me since she was walking in front of me.

"yea sure, sounds great"

i replied, giving her a small smile. i was trying not to be awkward but failed miserably. i've never hung out with a girl before. besides my little sister, but she obviously doesn't count. what do girls even like? I've only had one female friend in my whole life, but i don't know what happened to her. she's just an old, bad memory, that i try not to think about.

i caught up to sunhee, standing next to her so we could walk alongside each other. our hands occasionally brushing against one another.

i saw the ice cream shop just across the street.

"oh! there it is" i said pointing at the store, so he could see.

"we need to cross the street" he mentioned.

i tugged his sleeve and dragged him towards the crossing, waiting for the light to turn green so we could cross. (as in the green light that tells u to walk, not the green like for the cars😂)
we were waiting patiently. there was a lot of traffic today, so the lights took longer to change. a man walked up next to me, he was on his phone, and i was slightly eavesdropping on his conversation. it sounded serious, he was probably a business man or something.

the lights turned green, so we started to walk, but before I stepped onto the road, the business man next to me zoomed across, impatiently crossing the road, seeming to be in a rush. he bumped into my shoulder causing me to fall onto sunghoon, who was next to me. he caught me shockingly. sunghoon noticed the guy that knocked me over and yelled out to him.

"HEY WATCH WHERE YOURE GOING"
he screamed out, but the business man didn't seem to notice or care and went on with his day, and that stupid phone call.

"hey, are you okay?"

i looked up at him, realising the position we were in, i jolted out of his arms, standing up straight.
